Congratulations on your tour, Mark! I can only imagine what it was like to be trackside watching those two F-cars whiz by.

Oh, and add me to the "sap" list too...haven't seen the Enzo in person yet.

I had the chance to see them being built on my factory tour in February. Amazing car. The structure of the car is really much more of a race car than street car, including carbon fiber tub. After the tour I went out to Fiorano to watch them flogging a yellow Enzo, followed by the F2003GA F1 car. Will remember that forever....

I've touched an Enzo.

ever since, I charge $10 for a handshake.
Seems reasonable.

I was attending the Calvavino Classic this last January and was there for the Enzo unveiling. One cannot appreciate the car unless seen in person.

Seen a bunch of F50s, including one on the track and also on a dyno (REALLY NEAT), but no Enzo.

Hope to see one at the end of the month at Ron Tonkin.

I suppose I'm even more of a sap, because not only have I not seen an Enzo in the flesh, I haven't seen an F50 either!

But I've seen a number of F40's and got a chance to sit in one...

I've seen 2 complete and 4 in different states of assembly plus touched one.

But I had to go to Maranello to do that!!!! (Not that I'm complaining) because I certainly won't see one in Canada!

Basta Lamborghini!

Dime a dozen compared to the friggin' Enzo. I'm not overtly thrilled with it but I NEED to see it in person to make a better judgement. Being the resident car nut in my circle of friends they all ask me my opinion on the car and I can't really say! I hate hearing myself say how it doesn't thrill me "on paper". I've definitely been in and driven the Murcielago and Diablo. Gallardo is a different story, as is the Miura and the 350/400GT (my faves, by the way). Countach, drove it in a parking lot at around 10 mph. So I don't know jack about them either.

Cheers

I'm lucky I live near Chicago; there was one at the Auto Show so I saw it close up. It was better than it looks in pictures; more like a real car. I'm still not stuck on it though. I liked the GT 40 better.

You think it's bad for you... I go to college in ARKANSAS! I was raised in ARKANSAS. To see my first Ferrari in person, I had to save up money (while in college, mind you) and fly to Detroit to the Detroit Auto Show. That was the first time I ever saw a Ferrari in person. I took 8 rolls of film in a couple of hours. I was waiting at the gates to get in and RAN to the Ferrari booth. It was definitely incredible.

There is also an Italian Car show in Memphis on Fathers Day. I can't wait to go to that in a few weeks, but I'm having trouble getting in touch w/ memphis area F-car owners. I haven't had any answer to my emails :-( :-( :-(

Oh, and OF COURSE I've never seen an ENZO!

Geez. Just got an email from a buddy overseas and he is blabbering on and on about how he just got to sit in one of these and saw it drive away blah blah blah.

All these damn Enzo sightings. Don't get me wrong, I envy you guys quite a bit (especially the owners :-)) But am I the only moron who's never gotten to check one of these out?

Where is that conspiracy theories thread...

Cheers
