To anybody that is close to Palm Beach Florida in January, the Cavalino Classic is a must. There were several F-50's, F-40's, 288 GTO's and other rare Ferrari's there to look at at one location. |

Tim, check out http://www.theferraricentre.co.uk/ That's KHPC, but the F50 is not in the showroom anymore. You could always contact them, numbers are on the website. And 250k would 408k US$ this moment |

I am no expert on current F50 pricing but I think they have come down from the 600-750 range over the last year or so. Especially with the enzo out now most of the guys will be dumping the old toys |

Ben, From what I understand, most of the 95s ended up in the US anyways due to the whole OBD1 vs. OBD2 rules. Don't think there are many to import. --Dan |

F50's were made during the 1995 MY and the 1996 MY (model year). In 1996 the USA added things to vehicle requirements like OBD-2 and airbags. The importation rule in the USA states that you can bring any car into the USA so long as it has (or can be made to have) the items required for that (MY) year. So if you plan to bring a Euro F50 into the USA make sure it's a 1995 (in fact have this checked 100x), bc you CAN'T add airbags and OBD-2 to an F50 - they never made such items. Did that make sense? -Ben

Scotty you did the conversion right and that one only has 6k more miles than this one to bad you can't import these cars it would be nice to save $300,000. The car really is amazing it just sort of sucks you in as you look at it. It was not easy to leave after seeing the car. BTW the rear grille appears to be like 1X5 it is huge and all challange style. I saw an F50 at Algar in the service area last summer. Man... It may have been the same one, can't be to many in the area. Unreal in person. All I could do was stare. Pure love. Check this out... http://www.qv500.com/adsdkf50.htm I checked the exchange rates, looks like $480,000 U.S. if I did the conversion right. If so, it appears that F50's are a relative steal in the UK. Ogner wanted to, but couldn't. FNA has ordered all US dealers NOT to buy Euro F50's Well, "ordered" would probably cross some legal lines. I imagine they have "strongly urged" them not to buy Euro F50s :-) doody. |

250-300GBP seems to be the going rate in the UK, there is one for sale at the moment at DK Engineering for 290K. www.dkeng.com. At current FX rates that's about 470K US. Ferrari of New England has a US car and is asking 700K - I think it was a PX against an Enzo, nice to try and cover the cost of your enzo and make a profit. However, I suspect that 600K is closer to the mark for a US car. Make an offer see what they do! |

That price seems right to mee. But of course, I have not looked at the market for about two years now. What I can compare it to is a Euro F50 that some guy was trying to sell to Ogner's for $650,000. Ogner wanted to, but couldn't. FNA has ordered all US dealers NOT to buy Euro F50's... |

The F50 is SWEET! It really is an incredible car. But $729,000? Seems a little steep. Although honestly, I haven't been a position where I would have to seriously comparison shop them.... |

Today I went to Algar and saw the 1995 f50 that they just got in last week. This was the first time I saw an F50 up close and it is one awesome looking car. The engine really did appear as if it came right out of a race car. I loved the looks and pictures really don't do this car justice. I always thought the car was bigger then when I finally saw it. Also the fact that the top can come off really makes the car look cool sitting on the showroom. Anyone else stop by Algar to see it? They are asking $729,000 is this really what F50's are going for that is more then an ENZO is sticker. How long do F50's take to sell there can't be too many buyers out there true? Erik |
