Despite the weather it was a great show. I'm glad I made the trip down. |

Day 2 was very interesting. The fully restored King Leapold car was there. Even serial #, trafficators, chromed alum air cleaners, open hood warning light, etc. Kenny posted some great photo's on his site. Very impressive! Beautiful Cisitalia Novolari spyder. Rare 275GTB2 Comp. Nice 250 SWB. Pretty yellow 275GTB 4. Merci in mud with fogged up rear lamps under sealed portion. Mayback which looked like a POS to me as did UBBER RR. Nice Bora, Dino. Very pretty lime green Mura SV with no rearview mirrors. Looked like trailer queen. Aston Zagato Coupe. Millions of dollars in the mud. Even though I got rained on yesterday I got home before the field turned to mud. |

Congrats. That is awesome you can adjust everything from the drivers seat. Its also great that you drive your cars. "After picking up my award I drove home in the pouring rain." Seeing that car on the road in the rain must really get the attention of those around you. Erik |

Eric "Best American Open Car" Andrew This car was the 1931 Paris show car bodied in Paris by Frany for Queen Marie of Yugoslovia. The mascott is Lalique and lights up. The motor is a 427CI straight 8 with 4 valve heads and dual overhead cams. The carboration, timing, and exhaust backpressure are cockpit adjustable. After picking up my award I drove home in the pouring rain. The top the Queen comissioned didn't leak a drop. Best Jim |

I'm going to make the trip (weather be damned) I'll be wearing Levi's and a red shirt that says Polo Sport on it and most likely a rain poncho over it so if any of you F-chatters see me say Hi! I look forward to put names with the faces that I chat with all the time. |

Too bad about the weather. Jim's Dusey is a real... , well, it ain't subtle. Love to see the look on the kids' faces when you roll into the parking lot at Marcus Dairy. Gorgeous. Love the shot of the Spirit of Ectasy in the rain. Could i prevail on you to get me a shot of that i could print, Kenny? I doubt you'll see me tomorrow. Maybe i should just buy a car with a real roof.It looks like they perfected that technology on American cars by, what, James, 1931? |

That car is absolutely beautiful. That piece of motoring history is in good hands. I only have one question: Why did Duesenberg hang the heavy spare tire from the side mirror with such thin straps? |

James's Dusenberg:
Good time today, too bad the weather was soo horrible. I woke up a bit late planning to only go tomarrow but after looking at the weather reports I sped off to see it today (tomarrow, the weather is supposed to be worse). I didn't get to see all the cars today becuase of the weather but here are some pictures of the cars I did see: Enjoy! http://www.exoticcarforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7327&perpage=10&pagenumber=1 (To view the pictures, you must have an account- it keeps people from linking directly to the pictures and killing the bandwith.)
