I kept mine under 5k rpms for 500 miles and constantly varried the RPM's and have no oil consumption. I have no idea what was done on the first 293 miles before my ownership commenced. |

When we were at the factory for training on the 360, they had the engines on the dynos cranking up some pretty good RPM! What they didnt do on the dyno. the test drivers did on the street! We stayed some 35 min's drive away from the factory, in Pavulo, and regulary had 360's flying past us on the road, at the speed of heat. As a side note, we decided it was the factory test drivers that "created" the center, 3rd lane, on a 2 lane road. A simple flash of the headlights and all oncomming traffic would head for the shoulder and up would come a 360, clad in the factory armor padding, doing around mach 2, on the country roads.

Supposedly keep it under 5000rpm's the first 500 miles even tho the cars are driven 60 mi at the factory.
You can go above that without any problems just don't sustain high rpm's early on especially if the oil is not heated up yet. |

It says 500 miles in the owners manual. Question is what are you supposed to do for 500 miles in a 400 hp car? |
