Willis, I believe there is an F-40 selling for under 200k here, next to Orlando Florida. |

The prices may drop a bit, but remember Ferraris are limited production models (only 627 of my Mondial we made) there will always be someone out there willing to pay for a piece of the passion associate with Ferrari. Think of it this way, regardless of the economy, if you had the money and wanted a Ferrari you would probably buy one. Good luck... |

I have a friend of mine who drives a garbage truck. A semi that goes back and forth between dump sites. He says that a good economic indicator of how the economy is doing can be determined by how many loads of garbage he hauls daily. He says his loads are picking up. This indicator of his has worked for 30 years. My friend and his stock broker have a very good relationship. |

There almost has to be a situation where someone needs to sell their car to make ends meet. I see this in the retail service business. When the economy gets bad you start seeing rare coins in your cash register, as people, especially older ones, will spend money that they have saved for years. This is a little known economic indicator. |

Hi Ron Tough question to answer. Unlike the newspaper "financial manager" your speculation into the future of the economy will invole real money...yours. My experience with shopping for and buying my 328 was that it's about the car. Sure the price is a big part of the equation but buy the best CAR you can. I'm not sure a 12 year old Italian sports car is the best place to be looking for a bargin. I'm certain the pain of a poorly maintained Ferrari will linger well beyond the pleasure of the couple thousand dollars you saved buying it. |

If it gets any worse, maybe I could pick up a F40 for 200K or less? Wishful thinking, I know. |

While reading the Sunday paper about the economy down turn and how to hold on for retirement with what you have. The few positives that the financial Manager projected of todays economy included that cash hogging items accumulated in the last 20 years like boats, RVs and Exotic cars will soon become bargins? I am looking to buy a 328 in the next 2/3 months, should I wait till spring or could I see bargins in December/January? |
