Limited experience...
Called to get an allocation for the Bentley GT that's coming out. Got treated like I was a joke. Asked me of previous Bentley ownership and what cars I drove at the time. Finally they said OK and wanted an insane deposit amount. When I confronted them about not wanting to tie up that much cash I was told that maybe this was too much car for me. Hahaha.
I got a different allocation from the dealership where my in-laws bought their Continentals with no deposit, a written agreement. I would've been OK with putting some money down. And the allocation is transferrable within family. I have since let go of it fairly.
