Hmmm, it is not a Ferrari, but i heard of the 86 years old Paul Frre (former Formula 1 driver, Le Mans winner), who was invited by Audi to drive the R8 for a few Laps in Le Mans and he did it well. |

Debbie, you are correct. Eddie's NART is red. It is BEAUTIFUL! Robin, his nickname id Lucky G. He told me it was a name given to him by his son. Don't remember want it means though. He is a real cool guy. I did drive with him once at Moroso as a passenger at a track event; he did make me a little nervous. He just got his 355 F1 and he kept putting on the windshiled wipers every time he shifted. He was kind of funny. |

Robin, that was indeed Eddie. He is a great guy and is the original owner of the NART Spyder that Paul mentioned. However the NART is red and not black. In addition it is the only NART that is still in the hands of the original owner. |

Paul, is that the guy they call "Lucky" ??? I saw an older gentleman at VIR a few weeks ago with a 355 Spider and a NC license plate "Lucky G". I could have sworn I overheard someone say he was in his 90's... Don't suppose you'd get stuck behind him on the highway with his blinker on -R |

Don't think she is the "oldest" (although she is getting older), but i met Denise McCluggage on a trip to Santa Fe a few years ago. She raced at Sebring in a Ferrari in 1961, i think (in fact, her co-driver, a playboy jazz musician, just died and had an interesting obit in the NYT). She still drives like a bat from hell, and could be your grandma. |

Eddie Smith who lives in North Carolina. I think he is around 85! Drives at FCA track events in a 355 F1 Spider. Cool guy. Also owns a beautiful black NART Spider. |
