Taek, I know the average high end car owner would have a few more cars in their garage but not all of them have solid positive bank behind them. It seems a lot of fellas here aren't thinking on the same track as I am and as usually as I always do I don't require any rethinking as I know before I speak. I definately have been misunderstood, my point is that not everyone who owns a high dollar car is rich and not everyone who owns a Lambo has 4 other sports cars behind it with other family cars with it, I sure don't and hell, I'm not rich either nor am I a millionaire, hell, I'm poor compared to Mr. up with the Forbes Enzo owner. So now everyone who owns a high dollar car is assumed rich? I'm not going to argue any more on this cause who gives a F**K right, I don't need this to continue so on to the next topic.

Paul -

If it makes you feel any better, remember Mr "Kournikova" will officially be "unemployed" in 26 days.........
(OK, it may not last long but it's the best I can do on short notice:-))

Why is everyone so secretive about the names of the Enzo owners in Michigan? It's pretty common knowledge that the owners are Sergei Fedorov and Tom Celani.

Paul: If the owner of the yellow Enzo is who you say he is, he bought a new 360 Spider last year and he didn't have any trouble driving it, so you shouldn't either. You have a great car. Enjoy it.

I have spoken to a couple of exotic car dealers. They're pretty sure it's the case in the U.S. given their experiences, but definitely the case in Asia.

Your average Lamborghini owner has about four other sports cars, keep in mind this isn't counting family cars or luxury cars or utility cars. You might want to rethink the broke exotic owner theory Modman. Just my 2 pennies.

Paul, man I couldn't tell if you're being funny but it's cool I just like hearing interesting topics and when I hear things that catch my attention, I get into the philosphy of things. Enjoy your ride or donate it to DES as imagine how he feels.

Just keep up with yourself, think of the thread you started and figure it out someday of what I'm trying to get at. Some people in this world are knowledgeable and some aren't do I need to say any further? Do you really feel like a looser compared to the guy who was up there with the Forbes? Are you a Billionaire? or a multi millionaire? how can you compare, well you don't, but understand what I am talking about and don't see through it. I'll leave it at that, for those who know what I'm talking about, you already know, that's good, for those who don't, we'll just leave it at that, keep it real, peace out....

The guy with the red Enzo isn't worth a few million. He's worth a few HUNDRED million. At least. And the guy with the yellow one is probably the best known NHL player in the world. That's not keeping up with the Joneses, it's keeping up with the Forbes!

Keep on researching and you'll know the truth. I'm not saying all high end car owners are poor but you'll be surprised that most of them don't have really good positive assets. It's been studied and proven and believe that until you get there and if you get there you wouldn't know the facts. I didn't either until I heard about it, there is a book on millionaires.

I don't really think that Enzo owners are in the "Jones" category. =)

Are you kidding? the 360 spyder is an awesome ride, it's not like you'll be seeing Enzos everywhere like a commuter car. When you get something new like the Enzo you would want to try it out for a little then it gets stored away or driven so very little. Enzo is not an everyday car or a car meant for the roads but your 360 spyder is meant for the roads, it's a cruiser car and a nice looking one too, in fact a 360 spyder is more of a reality for me in my possible want list but an Enzo is not anymore for many reasons. Of course the Enzo is nice but not realistic to own. I've learned the hard way to be happy with what you have and not what you don't have. Don't worry of keeping up with the Jones's cause the Jones's are really broke... for real..

Tako is indeed another person.

He has a black Murcielago. I had the yellowish orange one. We are both in the Bay Area and there was some confusion about this also in the Lamborghinichat.

He is into new cars, Z8, 360 Spider, Murcielago, 550 Barchetta, and a TVR Tuscan.

I'm trying to get into old cars. My new cars are a Porsche Turbo, a banged up Porsche C4 Cabrio, a Corvette and others. I like used cars though! Looking into a vintage Lambo currently and having some board members help me with mapping the restoration/fixes out. Also interested in a 76-77 Euro Fibre 308. Those are the two must haves right now and but the list gets longer every passing week. Miuras and Daytonas circle my head at night.

Cheers

Paul you need to pay more attention to your car. First get a black challenge grill for the back. Just too much yellow.

Second, the ENZO is out of place on a public road!It looks like a refugee from a nearby racetrack who made the wrong turn. Your 360 Spider receives attention because it is downright beautiful. The ENZO gets attention because it looks odd.

You can enjoy the open air while the driver of the Enzo is cocooned in a cockpit designed for high speed driving which he certainly would not find in Birmingham MI. You can barely see the driver let alone use the car to the fraction of its ability.

Would I take an Enzo over a 360 Spider? Sure in a nanosecond. However I would flip it and make some money insuring future more practical Ferrari purchases.

Actually Arlie, I'd say it's fairly unlikely (though not impossible) that the driver of that ENzo was a "non-Ferrari type", given that only repeat customers of Ferrari were ALLOWED to plunk down $700k.

I realize it could have been sold to someone for a quick profit, but given that only about 80 or 90 have been made so far, I would bet it was a "tifosi" (is that the word?)

Do you think that Enzo owner will still have his car 5 years from now? Probably not. More likely a rich, non-Ferrari type who simply wanted the flashiest most expensive car around. The novelty will wear off and he will trade it off for the next greatest thing. If he was REALLY a Ferrari guy, why didn't he see your 360 in the rear view mirror and offer to pull over and "chew the fat" a little? Certainly there are that many 360s on the roads every day either.

Yeah, Tako and Taek-Ho are two seperate people... Tako does have a black Murcielago, though... Along with a 360 spider (California blue/navy), a TVR Tuscan, a BMW Z-something and apparently some really cool polish to keep so shiney...

Paul, yeah, take those meds- :-)...

Seriously, though, i sorta know how you feel; the Enzo is my absolute-hands-down-no-questions-asked-favorite car of all time... But don't get it twisted, i wouldn't even think twice about parting with a teste to get my hands on a 360... Next time, look in your rearview - most likely, someone's following you with their jaw hanging... (If it's a guy in a white Saturn, pull over and talk to him, he's really nice...:-))

Ok guys, I don't REALLY feel like a loser, as long as I remember to take my medication!

There are two local Enzos, both owned by local high-profile customers. I have inspected them thoroughly at the local dealership, one yellow and one red. They are spectacular cars, but I always felt they would look completely out of place on the road, and I never felt a burning desire to own one. Until I actually saw it on the street!

I basically felt like a loser for following him around with my jaw hanging open, NOT because his car cost more than mine.

Another Enzo sighting? I'm beginning to get desperate here...

I agree with the other guys. You shouldn't feel like a loser. You should feel proud that both cars share the same bloodlines.

There are plenty of people who can afford a lot more but pick a certain Ferrari because it's what they have always wanted. Not saying that's the case here, but at one point or another, every Ferrari was close to the pinnacle of all motoring.

This makes no sense. I'd be ecstatic if I bumped into an Enzo while driving around in my 360M. I'd make the guy pull over so we can talk.

There's a difference between "feeling a looser" and admiring beauty.
Time for some self-examination?? Or a better explanation of what you felt?

I'd be happy just to see an Enzo on the road! R&T just had a nice review of it which I read last night, and I now find myself thinking I'd rather have an Enzo than a GT 40 after all. What was I thinking???? LOL

So does this mean if I'm driving in a 308 I should feel like a bigger loser if you pass me on the road??

I agree w/Solly. Do you know how many Ferrari owners want a 360 Spyder??

So I'm driving around in Birmingham, MI today, thinking I'm all cool in my yellow 360 Spider, and what do I end up pulling behind? A red Enzo. So I followed it around for a bit, then turned away. I couldn't bear it anymore, I felt like a loser.

The car is absolutely stunning on the road.
