Philip! How so cheap? Mine is Hagerty on a '78 308, 2,500 mile cap, can't be a daily driver, $500 deductable, full coverage with agreed value of $35,000. NO tickets or accidents. $565.00 a year.
Sounds like I should renegotiate.

I am surprised! The insurance seems to be cheaper in the US than in Germany! Full coverage for a 348tb without mileage limit is over 1200 per year. This was the best offer you could get.
Strange: Perhaps the Autobahn and the geographical location near Poland! :-)

I pay $2205 per year on a 1996 M3, 1990 348ts, 1987 Trans Am and 1971 Porsche 914 through Geico. Not bad here in Minnesota the real burdin in the daily driver which is double the Ferrari in total cost.

i pay more in two months, for liability on a '94 Saturn than Matt does, for an SUV & a Ferrari (both of which probably have full coverage) in an entire year... Can you say 'defensive driving'...? :-)
Here's another one for you: if i take defensive driving, the 10% they'll take off from my insurance, per year, is more than it costs Matt to insure his Ferrari for one year or equal to half a year's insurance on his Exploder... Damn... i @#$%ed up...

FYI. Hagerty was charging me $281/year on the 77 308 -- antique (25 years+) and cars in household = drivers plus 1 and not used to work and less than 3500 miles per year (neg).

Cheaper than the MDX and the Grand Cherokee

I have Nationwide.
My 355 spider is $775 every six months and the 308 is $604 every six months.
Nationwide has stated value policies for these cars and no limits on driving.
I'm changing the 308 to American Collectors Ins for $546 a year with a stated value of $35,000.

I'm paying $3800 per year for my '91 TR and my '95 Cherokee to Progressive.
I was paying $2400 per year for my 308 and Cherokee to GEICO.
GEICO wouldn't take my TR on my policy, so they lost a customer as a result. Oh, well.

Yoshi Ace, TX ain't always high on insurance, i used to pay about $60/month for liability/comp/coll ($1000 deductible).

Is more likely some combo of where you live, your age, or your previous driving/accident/claim record(s).

Wow, that souds low, isn't it?
I pay almost $1,400/year for '89 Corvette alone. Yes I was cancelled by State Farm in '94 or '95 when I got Porche 911.
My current insurance company quoted $1600 to 2000 for 328GTB, or 348 Spyder.
Maybe Texas is high on insurance.

I was afraid of that - but I hadn't seen any posts on this topic in the several months I've been on the list...sorry 'bout that.

BTW, I'm using Royal & Sunalliance.

I guess this post will probably die a pretty quick and natural death :-)

Crawford, this question has been asked many times... but rates do change, so...

I pay ~$1500/year (full cov, 500 ded) on my daily driver 348, no restrictions... in So Cal. Btw, I have Geico. Others have recommended Wawa Nisa (sp?), Grundy, and Leland West.

I recently added my car (328) at a cost of $862/yr (full coverage, and the best rate I could find).

When I had Firemans Fund 3 years ago, my insurance was only $550 or so, but I know all insurance has gone up...

I think my rates are pretty good (I guess Tennessee is a relatively unpopulated state - we don't seem to slam into each other too often), but what does everybody else pay??
