I bought a 87 911 Carrera Coupe, Guards Red/Black leather interior, completely original 59k, just had it's 60K service, all books and records down to the original window sticker. Porsche certificate of authenticity. Previous owner put in a $2k stereo system. It's a concourse winning car. I've known it's owner for nearly ten years. I couldn't think of a reason not to buy it.
I'll be looking for a 328 next time around. Maybe I'll have better luck. |

As you said, maybe wrong time & a lot of bad examples. We know you'll make the right decision when the opportunity does present itself! Enjoy the 911 in the meantime.

Thank you to the many folks who provided insight and assistance in my search for an F-Car. Call it bad timing, fate or kismet but I sure met my share of poor examples (both cars and owners) during the past few months. I've decided to go with what I know and purchase another 911.
If I'm welcome to do so, I'll hang around and check the boards and post now and again. I do love the Ferrari marque. Maybe next time. |
