Langka can be used for deep scratch repair as well as being more commonly used for rock chips. Click here for their website and info. |

Garrick...I was going to paint my 308 until I bought a bottle of 3M's Perfect Car-III rubbing compound. I cut the paint with the white foam pad and buffed with the black. There was paint under my car I did not know existed. It did a great job on some fairly deep scratches too. You may invest $25 prior to a body shop. |

http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/1121/260846.html?1054714305 Here's the start of something but it was in an area not too many people look at. Hopefully you'll get better results here. I'm interested too. Cheers |

I have heard of guys that can repair a scratch without reshooting the whole panel. I am talking about scratch repair vs. touch-up which covers up a scratch but is still noticable. I think a while back I saw some pics where a shop reshot just part of a panel and then wet sanded the surface until they blended it in when they were installing the factory shields. Does anyone have any reccommendations for people who can do this sort of work in the SF Bay Area? Thanks. |
