If the headers would only be $200-$300, hundred, I would rather give them to an FChat brother. Sounds like the muffler is worth a cup of java! |

Headers may be worth a few hundred, but the muffler, very little.
Best thing would be to Ebay them with no reserve. You can't lose with that. |

The stock muffler is worthless. Most people are doing what you are, and replacing the stock exhaust. I'll bet the dealer has many......to give away.
Case in point: I plasma cut my stock TR muffler, thinking I could modify it....I was going to sell the Tubi that was on the car.....the car was for sale at the time. When I took it off the market, I kept the Tubi on the car, but I wanted a stock muffler anyway. I called the dealer, and he had many......can't sell them......he gave me one for FREE!!!!!!!! It was even better than mine. It is now tucked away in a corner, probably, never to be used. |

I am in the process of having a custom tuned exhaust made for my '77 Euro 308. What would a REALLY fair price be (to the buyer) of my old muffler and maybe the headers. They are in good shape. If they are worth $100-$200, I just assume give them to one of the members here that wants it. It the replacement value is $700-800, I would want a few hundred. I have given away many items to different people on FChat. I just won't to be a chump on the muffler! |
