Ben,

My dad will definitely get to drive. he's a big fan of F-cars and I've just found out he's never ridden in one much less driven one.

we can still meet in St. Helena if you want, I was just pointing out that the shotgun seat would be occupied. Otherwise I'd want to give you a ride.

Vincent.

Hi Vincent, would love to, but I don't want to interupt time with your dad! (Very cool, do let him drive if you get the chance! Family comes first!! )

We can all see what we're up for, I'm not going anywhere (bay area for life for me!) so there's always tommorow! :-)

Best!

Ben,

We can meet up in St. Helena. but I'm afraid my Pops is going to be riding shotgun. Wait...I might be riding shotgun. (maybe not)

there's a place on 29 that's open early for pre-early-sunday f-car runs on hwy 29, just south of st. helena in the Dean and Deluca parking lot.

Looking forward to it.

Vincent.

Vincent- I'm so there! Feel like meeting up for the drive down? The post-breakfast drive up 1 should be one for the record books! (Can you tell I love living here? 22 years and I still drive around in awe like a tourist :-)

I'm also looking forward to the 22nd, meeting at FoSF is great way to kick it off!

Best!

Looking for a shotgun seat as my QV is going to be at Mark Spencer's on a Tbelt and major. Hope to have it back for the PA concours run though. Anyone starting in the SF area?

One of my friends lives in Sausalito and he highly recommends a breakfast place called Fred's on Bridgeway. Never been there, but might be worth a try. Early in the morning, parking should be easy on the street. Just an idea.

Allright,

Looks like plenty of activity coming up.

22nd. Faisal has a great idea of meeting up at FoSFO and caravaning down to the Palo alto concours.

29th. breakfast in tiburon/sausalito followed by a drive.

Who's there?

Vincent: 2000 in Nero, perhaps? :-) But my question: how does a 550 and a 360 make it at the same time...ahem...Norm...ahem...

Everybody should go!

Brian,

I was in St. Louis just a couple of weeks ago, but only for a few hours. I was passing through on my way to Columbia for my sister's med school graduation. She went to JBS as well.

Do you have the car yet?

Early is good. Anybody know a good place to meet either in Tiburon or Sausalito?

Either of those places is fine with me, but I don't know the area well enough to reccommend a specific place.

Thanks for the offers everyone. I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction to all of this. :-)

Let's meet early like usual. Less cars on the road means a better drive!! Perhaps we could meet in Tiburon or Sausalito for a quick breakfast, and then head north. BTW Vince, your dad is welcome in my 550!

Sounds great Vince,
He's welcome to a seat in my QV. Keep us all posted on the details.
Speaking of routes, I discovered a wonderful drive down to Woodland (near Palo Alto) VERY twisty thru the forest for lots and lots of miles. The route is hwy 280 to 84, then to 35. Man it was a great drive. We definitely should try this route with the guys/gals. It ends at the Fogerty Winery.

He's welcome in the Turbo. But I know you're all dying to see the Vette again.

Cheers

What do you guys think of June 29th?

Let's meet in Marin, hopefully for some clear weather. Then a drive up 1?

Does anybody know a good breakfast place there?

My father will be in town and he is a big Ferrari fan. He is why I got interested to begin with. But he has never been in one, though pretty soon he will drive a 348. :-) Maybe he can ride in few others? That would be awesome. No matter what he will be phsyched just to see all of them together. :-)

Vincent.
