My 308 is covered by State Farm--I pay about $650/yr , including collisiion, in Upstate NY.

Absent specific exclusions, your insurance HAS to cover you while on the track unless you are in a race, ie, a competition event of speed or time. Since track events/driving schools are not competition events of speed or time, you are covered. At least once that is.

Hagerty has been good to me also 3 cars very nice rates and term - with regard to miles.

Mark - How on earth did you get Progressive to cover your car when it was on a track??

I've heard of other insurance companies not renewing a policy simply because the owner inquired whether their car would be covered if it were tracked...

I use Progressive for all of my cars. They have been great. I totaled my 512TR at Roebling Road and they cut me a check for $98k(stated value)and they didn't even drop me!!!

my only concern with getting a 308 is insurance, i've had problems finding companies that insure them, i'm 29 yr old male :-(

any sugest on good companies, do most people have liability onlly or full coverage, and what can i expect to pay ?? Thanks !
