Rob, the same way this thing goes around corners. It's virtually the same thing.

How does Chris's trailer go around corners? Doesn't look like the cab and trailer swival at all?

Talking about Ferrari Trucks I've got the following question: How on earth can a Ferrari team use a truck which has been built by Renault - another Formula 1 racing team?
It even has an Italian license plate...

Sweet Rig Chris, I am sure you will be at Monterey next August.

You have to see Lawrence Stroll's rig(S) at Cavallino. Impressive stuff. He has a 4 car big rig & a huge Prevost motorhome both painted in blue with matching designs & a Sikorsky 8 passenegr jet helicopter to get from the hotel to the track :-) Its good to own Canada LOL

I drive my International with my 2 car trashy trailer. I'm seriously thinking about getting a nice motorhome to drive to & fro & let the mechanics drive the International

Chris:

Are you following Roland Linder with his rig and monster to New Orleans in October? The Colorado contingent is going to look mighty good driving down to the Big Easy. I think we are going to have to have an f40/big rig class at the Concorso! Or better yet, the F40-rig Mardi Gras floats!!

It is being built in Wheaton, a VERY small town on the very west side of the state. I will most likely go pick it up if my schedule allows for it, it is actually very fun to drive, fast, VERY quiet, cruise control and you are gone!

Chris= on the bright side, BLOODY AWESOME MAN!

On the downside, you kinda don't need a house anymore, do you? Won't your wife wonder what happened to you after you're at the track... for a few months straight... ? :-)

Enjoy, I've seen similar (but smaller!) rigs at Sears Point in the past, and lusted after them mightily.

Autoshift sounds neat, definately want to see interior pics!

Congratulations!!!

Tyson,

It would have looked pretty bad in red.....

And red fades to pink...........

"Hey buddy, nice PINK race car hauler"

White is so much easier to keep.

Last November I purchased a Kenworth T-2000 and sent it to a company in Minnesota to be converted to the ultimate Ferrari Hauler. Well it is almost complete, the front 16' are living quarters with 2 couches, 2 bunks a full kitchen and a large bath and shower.

The back 18' is a garage, we have an elevator door on the rear so we load the cars flat, lift them, then drive them in. We can stack 2 Ferrari's in the back.

We put the tool boxes in the basement, so we never have to go back in the truck to get tools, tools boxes are Snap-on on slide out drawers. An electric awning should keep us cool.

Oh, and I could not resist, we used 8 large fire engine strobes all around the rig, just in case somebody doesn't see us! (IF they are blind, that fire engine siren should get there attention!)

This rig will cruise at 85mph all day without slowing down, 475 Cummings with a Eaton-Fuller 10 speed Autoshift (like a F1 transmission, way cool!).
