I went through some tunnels in SF with my 68 Vette. The tunnels had signs that said "No excess noise" LOL 1 tunnel had a walking bridge inside. When the Vette came through people were turning around with grouchy looks thinking "WTF?" Then when they saw the Vette they were all smiles & thumbs up | ||

Ricky- I once red in a magazine that the F355 was MADE for tunnels, and that they actually spent a good impromptu hour or so running *back and fourth* through the same tunnel ripping it up in second gear. I think the car comes with a license to run through the same tunnel over and over again, just incase the local constibulary wants to know what the heck you're doing (or just take him for a ride! :D) Siempre Ferrari dude. came home from work and took the 355 out...drove around manhattan for an hour or so and then took the FDR north back....the sound of a 95 355 with a tubi and tubi test pipes at 7,000 rpms in 3rd gear screaming through the tunnel was literally orgasmic...me and my friend just looked at one another and just couldnt even say anything...i wish i could have recorded it! By the way, the car is NOT for sale!!! :-) |
