I agree with Jens and Taek-Ho Kwon's value range. The driver's side mirror was standard and passenger's side mirror was a dealer-installed option on US and Euro fiberglass GTBs.

I've been looking for a good fiberglass car for about a year now. This looks like a clean example.

There was only one mirror, and it was on the driver's side.

Ralph, I've seen prices range from 28-45. 28 was really rugged, 45 is waaay too much to ask. I think 35 is a good amount for a well sorted car with history that needs no work.

Cheers

Another wierd thing is the side mirrors. Where are the side mirrors? I think also the earlier models only had one on the drivers side.

I guess the guy forgot the mirrors at the restoration shop..

Beautiful Car...

Tyson,

I think the glasfibre 308 is THE 308 to go for! Looks gorgeous, very rare (Only a little over 700 built) and the pure bread (Carbs etc.).
Definitely would consider this as a good investment. Rather cheap but will definitely rise in value in the next ten years or so.
Besides its a great car to have fun...
Definitely my second Ferrari unless I stumble over a good 550 in the next years!

Con saluti cordialissimi,

Yes, they are in the incorrect position. The correct position is amber on the outside, red on the inside. Most often, they are incorrectly installed after a repaint. There have been documented cases on this list of original cars with the lenses reversed. Doesn't make it right, just installed wrong from the factory. The correct relationship is verified by looking in the owner's manual provided with the car, there they are shown in the normal/correct position, of amber outside, red inside.

Tyson, Not neccessarily. From what I understand the arrangement of the tail lights can vary from the factory.

Shouldn't the turn signals be on the outside of the break lights? Was this car restored and put back together wrong, or was it a factory slip?

I saw this 308 GTB on a car lot near my work. I pulled in and began to look at it when a guy came out and told me that it was his car and that it was not for sale. He than told me it was a fiberglass model that he purchased from Steve Harris Imports a number of years ago. Very nice guy

It is rare when I see a Ferrari here in Idaho let alone a 76 fiberglass GTB. Too bad this car is not for sale.
