I have Stongard on all of my vehicles...simply the best. (I don't know about the other products but the Stongard folks here in Seattle do a great job with the install...and this is apparantly the key. My parents had someone do an install for them on the East Coast and they had to have it redone.)

It is a product of the US and the main folks are near Seattle. www.stongard.com

I had Stonegard product installed on my 348 two weeks ago. The product is virtually invisible. That is due to a good installer.
Check with Stonegard if they have somebody in your country. It looks like to product comes from Sweden or Denmark. It is called Stonegärd.
The film was $ 350 and the install was another $250. The guy was working 4 hours and did a great job. Factory trained.

If you have a good installer for window tint they may be able to do that as well. After seeing what he did I would not do it myself. Very detailed.

Get the Stonegard film. It has NO cuts and applies direct. Check their website.

I can not tell you yet if and how it works. From others I have heard just the best! My car went right into service!

Hans,
I have a 360 with Armourfend on the nose, wheel arches and lower door sills. It's great....There is NO paint damage caused by the product, nor is there any issue with the UV...The film lets UV pass through so that your paint 'wears' evenly....The film also has an anti yellowing formula....Unlike the crappy, yellowing, unprotective helicopter tape that Ferrari apply to 360 wheel arches!!!!
In terms of performance....it is superb, stone chips become a non issue (Remember Hans the best way to avoid nose stone chips is not to drive too close to the vehicle in front)
The film is invisible on paint with the exception of white (gives a slight pearlessent effect)....All the companies you mention utilize the same product .......3M scotchcal.....I went with Armourfend, because they taught Ferrari UK how to install the product, and I wanted someone who knew how to install on a 360.....FYI 3M's website has a ton of info on this product, even lab tests where they fire stones at 60 mph to illustrate impact damage......
Finally, whilst it is possible to install yourself, I wouldn't recomend doing that, the product is slightly awkward to work with, and given the complex shape of a front nose, I would doubt that you will be satisfied with a DIY result.
FYI, if you opt for this product, you should know that the film looks bad for about 3-4 weeks, it will be full of bubbles, and slightly milky in appearance.....DON'T WORRY, the bubbles will naturally 'off-gas' and the milkyness dissapears

Hi Hans. Ive seen a 355 with the scratchguard tape applied to the front. It cost about $1200-1500 to have it applied. Im sure that it could be a project that one taking there time could do. Im sure instructions would come with the tape. My suggestion might be a bra purchased for the front. These match up very close to the car's color though the tape is virtually impossible to detect. I would be afraid of the paint if the tape had to be replaced. You know what happens when you pull off a bandaid. I have driven about 25 000 miles on my cars and only have had one chip that I had to touch up. I do get bug remnants which I am able to pretty much control with proper washing and waxing. Hope that Ive been a little bit of a help. Good luck with your 328 Hans----They are very nice cars

I have seen a 360 with a cellophane type guard on the nose, lower doors and behind the wheels from a few feet away you cannot see it. I am not really sure how it will hold up in sunny climates; most plastics block UV but like most new products who knows how the paint might react with the chemicals in the adhesive. This in one of those only time will tell things. Congrates on your first Ferrari!!!! I would e-mail 3M for info I searched their site and did not see anything Call Cauley Ferrari and ask them. www.cauleyferrari.com

Having just purchased a 328 GTS (my first Ferrari) in a mint condition I would like to install some protection against stonechips. The dealer in Germany suggested a 3M product (scratchguard ?) however time was limited and I was not able to install it there before returning home to Norway. I have checked the discussions here and there are a number of products/suppliers out there (stonguard, armourfend, etc). My problem is that there is most likely not a company installing these products back in Norway. I am therefor thinking of installing this myself.
Have anyone of you tried this and could share some of your experience ?
