I was looking for an indoor red flannel cover for my 86 1 mirror TR and ordered mine from http://www.autoanything.com/ I am very pleased with the fit, and the colour is great. I think it was about $220 and 3 week delivery.

I have Coverking covers for several cars including my 308 GTB. They are very well made and fit well, including the mirror pockets. They offer flannel-lined cotton covers, but in gray only. Their brushed-cotton cover is very soft on the inside aspect and they do offer it in red. They're about 150 dollars. The website address is:

http://www.coverking.com/

I've ordered them from Performance Products. They're made in Mexico and delivery takes about 3 weeks

Scott -- thanks for the feedback. I'll check the body fit again (I'm actually still using my old BHMA cover that is starting to fall to bits), but I thought it was OK.

Steve,

I called and talked to Cal Car Cover, there TR covers are made by COVERCRAFT, who already supplied me with the original dissapointing cover.

I called Italian Car Parts and have ordered one of there brushed cotton covers. I'll let everyone knows how it fits when it arrives.

Thanks
Scott

I bought the Wolf car cover, about $200 over the WEB at many locations. I am very happy with it.

Because of my locale I bought it at www.jcwhitney.com but there are countless sources.

Ernest.

I have that California Car cover for the 308, I like it. It's very soft and protects it a bit more than most other covers I have seen. I would say that I would get it again. Only downside I can think of is that it is starting to wear a bit by the bumper from taking on and off everyday and also being outside 95% of the time, being inside and always dry would avoid that a lot I would say.

the Plushweave from California Car Cover -- http://www.calcarcover.com

Although the mirror pockets are a tad too long (compared to the BHMA :-() the body fit is good.

Scott - I'll be ordering a bunch of covers from www.covercar.com - and if you'd like to get one, let me know and I can include your car on the order. As a reseller/dealer in parts, I'll become one of the NAm. dealers for them. I haven't tried the covers yet, but I've heard nothing but great things about them. Look at the available products and throw me an email if you want to discuss options. Thanks.

Scott, sorry to hear about BHMA. I ordered my Ultraguard car cover for my 91 TR 3 years ago and it fits perfect!! BHMA was very prompt. I think that the cover was made in Mexico. Try your local dealer for suggestions. Don.

I just got a custom carcover made by covercraft and to say I'm dissapointed would be an understatement. The mirror pockets are twice as long as they should be, and the whole cover is baggy front and rear.

Maybe I'm asking to much, but I'd like one that fits good, gives good indoor protection, and can occasionally be put on outdoors to protect against sun/dust.

Being in Southern California, I'm not worried about rain/snow.

TIA
Scott

BTW it appears that Beverly Hills Motoring has gone out of buisness. I searched the archives, and found them recommended several times for covers, but their phone numbers are all disconnected, even though the website is still there.
