Hee Hee,
My 2 year old and I use my 308 a lot. We enjoy it. I am able to use the regular car seat, one with the 5 point harness (reversable for kids 0-40lbs), its a Century, the one that got best ratings in Consumers Report. Happily, it was also quite cheap. Works fine in the GTSi, can't comment on a Mondial, obviously. It does sit quite tall, but the kid likes that, as she can see out well.

As a pediatrician, get a good seat with a 5 point harness, not that silly bolster that flops down over the kid's head. As race car guys, you should be able to understand why.

You're not alone Octavio, my 6 year old begs me every day to take him to school in the Ferrari. How can I say no if it's not raining? And the top is ALWAYS off.

Finally, a car nut like me! I get strange looks from people all the time when I take my 2 yr old son in my Alfa Sypder. Having the seat allows me drive my car every day and keep him safe. You should hear him begging me to lower the top.

Though I have not tried the back of a Mondial, I have found that the type of baby seat that fits best is the type that looks like a regular car seat with a racing shoulder and lap belt since it is only a few inches thick.

Recaro makes a great carseat for children . I beieve it has several sizes designed according to their weight. You can find them on the web.

I know its crazy but it will allow me to drive my car more often, anyone recommend a particular child seat for ferrari seats? I have a 86 mondial cab and want to put the kids in the back, but the seats that fit in my normal car seem to sit up too high in the ferrari.
