I should be in, barring any unforseen issues.

Faisal, I would like to join y'all, but it doesn't make much sense to drive from Saratoga to FoSF then to Palo Alto. I guess I'll meet you in PA.

I'm in for the breakfast since I can sneak out few hours from my paternal obligation :-) but I'm tentative for the caravan to Palo Alto.

Faisal,

add one more from my side. I believe Norman is coming as well? Might be best to check with him, of course.

So far, I have Taek-Ho, Dan, Ben, Stephen, a few Esprit owners not on this list, possibly a couple of Lambos...anyone else?

Ben,
I am working on the "inside" part...I know the F-cars that are upstairs. And the accessories. And the swatches. I also saw a very nice, very big, very detailed P4 model in the manager's office. Exquisite. Anything else? :-)

Looking forward to meeting up
Faisal.

Hi Faisal, I'm in! (just the one) Breakfast at FoSF, even if it's just in their backyard, sounds great to me! (though it'd be icing on cake if we could get in and oogle cars, have you seen what they have upstairs? OOO!)

Would be cool to then take this kind soul(s) down to the concours with us!

Brian- love to have you, if you can get up early enough (I know! so early!) the drive is really worth it.

The roads and cities take on an enirely different and really rather beautiful aura, mist clings to everything, and you feel like the only one on the road. (because you nearly are :-)

Best!
Ben.

I'll probably go up in tow behind Faisal, assuming I can keep up! ;)

Heard back from the organizers...there is no capability for reserved parking, but parking will be plentiful, especially at that time in the morning.

For all those in the South Bay, peninsula, etc., I live south of the city and am planning to go up to Mill Valley and come back down...if you want to exercise your car a bit on nice empty roads in the morning, it's a great chance to do so. Otherwise, yes, see you at the show.

I will ask FoSF if they can set aside some shady seating for a meeting area, otherwise we can coordinate via cellphones on the day.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Best,
F

I am planning on going, but I am in south bay. Perhaps we can hook up at the concours itself?

$3-5 a head is no problem here.

Don't know if my wife will make it. If she doesn't I got room for one.

Cheers

They are closed at that time. I am hoping that someone who doesn't have to be at the Concours at that time is willing to open it up and allow us to meet/have breakfast inside, ogle the cars up close, etc. That would take care of the coffee too.

Otherwise, we could just do it in their backyard, overlooking the water.

Would it be ok if I brought donuts/bagels for everyone and asked for a donation there? $3-5 each should cover it. I just need a good idea of the numbers in advance to avoid shortages or wasting food.

Please let me know if each of you are coming alone or how many will be accompanying you. I have seen 4 people squashed into an Esprit, 3 in a Testarossa, etc., so I am not willing to guesstimate! :-)

Sounds great Faisal,
Thanks for taking care of the logistics. Do we need tickets in advance for the Concours?
Count me in.

Faisal,

Isn't FoSF closed that early in the morning? Or aren't they going to be doing prep work at the concours? It would be great if we could do breakfast there though. Thanks for taking the initiative on this!

Cheers

I left a message with FoSF re: some kind of breakfast meeting there. How about everyone meet up between 8.30 and 9.30? We set off at 9.30 towards PA.

Left another message with the organizers of the event to see about reserved parking.
