My company is ventureing into composites proto fabrication for both some internal projects and some on a contract basis. We're focused on non-cosmetic structual small stuff right now, but the requisite UV clearcoat makes a presentable (though we're not talking the beauty that the Enzo's intake is, that's a buffed clearcoat with gel filler == heavy) piece. Is there anything, preferably engine bay ( 300F tollarant prepreg) that just dosen't exist but is begging to? We actually use the exact same prepreg cloth that forms the tail section of the Beoing 777. (Torayca 700) it makes really great light parts. Small engine parts, maybe oil sump, etc. Best! Ben. |
