Scott, I love it. It's the first car I've owned that I WANT to pamper, to get it sorted right. It's not particularly quick, smells of fuel inside sometimes, the driving position SUCKS, AC does not work...wait a minute, WHAT AC? But... I open the garage door just to look at the car I wash it (!) just to have an excuse to examine and appreciate the lines I love taking my kids in the car...they press their noses against the window just to see out as the FRICKIN' seats are so low But most of all, you KNOW I love my Dino because... I'm PAYING FOR A COMPLETE ENGINE/TRANNY RESTORATION SOON...

Hey Vincent, your black bias is showing... Love your car. Still dreaming of one, though I may get a convertible. Scott, I have a Yellow 246 GT, so if you have any questions, let me know if I can help. |

Scott, I don't know of one, but great choice. I think they look great in black, yellow second. What attracts you to the 246? hopefully someone here will know, though it seems you're looking everywhere. Vincent. |

I'm in central VA where Ferraris are about as common as dinosaurs. I know of the Dinos in the classifieds here and on ferrarimarketletter, as well as the 246's on ebay. Plus of course I've done some web searches. If anyone knows of other 246's available for sale please let me know. I'm open to various colors, though I'd probably avoid black unless it was pretty fresh paint. Would prefer a Dino that does NOT have FERRARI on the back (unless its an easy to remove adhesive one). Would prefer the GT over the GTS. Would prefer of course a car in good condition with service records. If I find a car I'm interested in I'll pay to have a ferrari mechanic do an inspection. So if anyone here is selling one or knows of one being sold please email me or post here. Thanks! Scott |
