I'm jealous. I attended the 1998 event and it was one of the highlights of my life. I've been to over 2 dozen F-1 races (in North America), many Indy 500's (when the race really meant something), dozens of CART, Can-Am, F-5000, IMSA and NASCAR events, but nothing compares with a round-the-clock event in the French Countryside.

Any other F-chatters off to Le Mans?
I'll be biking down on Friday on my trusty Speed Triple. Meeting up with our 328 mounted friends who will hopefully have set up camp already. Aaah joy!...a whole weekend of French portable toilets and building walls out of beer bottles!
Should be plenty of Ferraris making the annual pilgrimage. |
