Kemal, To be honest I was just refering to "Festival of Speed" and the possibility to drive there. Reason is that I always wanted to visit this particular event and to drive there instead of only watching is very appealing to me. Thanks for the offer anyway. I am afraid my calendar is already full with work, work, work and two Nrburgring events. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

Hi Jens... You can book up via a company such as www.easytrack.co.uk in order to drive Goodwood... Prices are about 300 EUR for the day, with an open Pitlane... I love Goodwood it is a lovely track to drive, and it is well marshalled, at least at their events, so if they see anyone driving like an a**hole, they kick them off...! I am hoping to do the August event, and a group of us at the moment are trying to get a few people together to hire the track ourselves... if you are intersted, drop me a line! That way we would be only 20 and have the whole circuit to ourselves... Mmmmmmm :-)

Ross, These are pics from Bruntingthorpe, right? Guess the 911 Turbo was the one from Daz. Met him at the Nrburgring lately and his car is awesome. Guess he would be even faster if he could reduce the passengers weight a bit! Mark, What about Festival of Speed at Goodwood? I thought only rare vintage cars could drive there! Is it possible to drive there with a normal 348 as well? Would love to do this since I always wanted to visit Goodwood one day! Please enlight me about this! Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

highest speed on the day was 190mph with a guy in a 996 tt x50 (although most of us thought he had a bit more under the hood). the problem was there was only about 1.5 miles of track so not everybody reached vmax, and virtually no run-off area after the timing lights, so you had to stand on the brakes and turn right or go thru a parking lot full of cars, trucks, standing water etc.at about 100mph. hairraising but fun. |

Ross, 145 mph / 232km/h on German highway (no, it was not the top-speed - too much traffic).

wolfgang, i was having a hard enough time holding the steering wheel at 180mph, let alone a camera !! and as for taking pics of the others, i tried but they did not come out so well on the digi...these pics came out better. |
