Robert, with Hans' help, he discovered that the engine type should be: "F106A 040". I had problems registering my car and when I used that type, it was accepted immediately... Mike Huber, the Heritage Certificate is a service offered by the Ferrari Owner's website, which tells you the original colours of your car and the date it was made. Curiously, the date MAY NOT be the exact date the car rolled off the production line. Why I suspect that is between Hans' GT4 and mine, there are 150 cars. Our completetion dates are only different by two days!!! 150 cars in two days? At Ferrari?!? My conclusion is that date could be when the cars were certified/homologated, probably when sitting in the parking lot waiting to be shipped... |

Just don't put Dom's serial #'s or else you will get a certificate for his car! |

OK, here are photos of my chassis, gearbox, and engine number. For Chassis Type: F106AL Serial#:10688 Engine Type: F106A Serial #:01256 Gearbox Type: F106AL Serial#:1254 I typed in the numbers exactly as they appear, had no problems. Hope this helps. Dom

I got mine also, looks great. Mine went through on the first shot. Got the certificate about 2 days later. You can't use someone elses numbers or else it will not be correct and they will tell you that the engine and tranny don't match the chasis number. What is it not accepting? |

Rob, I have the info at home, if you'd like send me an e-mail and I will dig it up for you. Hans and I discussed this a couple of months ago, and he probably will remember as well. The engine number is real easy to find. The gearbox number should be on the passenger side of the car, underneath. Hope this helps for now. Shoot me an e-mail and I will look it up tonight. I also took photos my my numbers, and can post those. Dom |

I searched the archives but still am having trouble with getting the proper numbers for the heritage Certificate for my 1975 308 gt4. Hans, I know you got one can you post the correct numbers, and was it worth all the trouble? I got several sets of numbers off the car, engine and gearbox but none seem to fit the right sequence mentioned in the archived thread. Thanks, Rob |
