Did he ever get that black boxer up and going? Never hear a peep about it since he dropped all that dough to get the interior up to snuff.

I still think it is all a conspiracy from the grassy hill in Dallas: Rob just didn't want anybody have more posts than himself and so he climbed to the 10th floor armed with a rifle...

I don't think it's one incident that would drive someone to leave. FerrariChat.com should be fun, if it's not fun or controlling too much of your life then you might need a little break.

Only life it should be overwhelming is mine!

Hey Des or anyone who knows - what thread was it that had all the flames with Frank? I'm really curious as to why the Don left.

Matt is gone, i hope not, Matt is always the first person to offer assistance or advice when needed, if i was stuck on the road somewhere and called him i have no dout he would be on his way to help day or night, truly one of the good guys

i say he comes back or we all show up at his house one day to harass him

FC without Matt wouldnt be the same

What say we all pile into, and on top of, Ken's Europa and take a fun filled, bury the hatchet ride around the virtual Ferrarichat block and let bygones be bygones?

I went through the whole flame war and thought Frank never said anything that warrented the extreme response he got. I didn't chime in though because I didn't think fanning the flame would serve any purpose. But I do/say dumb things too and I try to just put them behind me. If "The Don" wants to come back I won't carry any grudges, but I won't talk about running temp.; that's for sure!

Don't quite understand why he got all worked up about Frank. I think I saw a post somewhere stating, that his car is in trouble, so maybe he just had one of those days. I sure have them once in a while, so I can relate to strange behaviour/postings.

I've met him once in real life and thought he is a really cool guy. I'd miss him if he was really gone. Hope he'll be back and his car with him.

I wonder if he really is gone. FerrariChat is a hard habit to kick. I'm pretty sure he'll relapse and be right back. Seems to me to be a pretty small issue to just leave the board for. I don't understand letting the internet get to you that bad. Maybe it was another accident....

Rob, i understand that Matt, himself deleted his own username and password, i'm not blaming you or the software or anything else for that matter... i just think the response to the thread he started spurred him on to leave... Who is anyone to say that anyone else isn't justified for feeling a certain way...? Maybe he overreacted in someone else's eyes, but i'm sure he felt he was just in expressing himself in the way he did... Maybe i'm wrong here, i don't know... Maybe he'll cool off and come back... At least i hope...

It's just obvious he felt strongly about the issue... Whether his feelings were motivated by Frank, himself, or indirectly through something else, isn't it better to first find out why he feels so strongly before we all jump and say, 'Matt, you're overreacting, stop it!'...? Maybe i'm wrong, too...

Why did he leave? The coolest thing about this site is that you can occasionally make an ass of yourself or get into it with another member and still be welcome--none of those sissy "play nice" rules over here. I don't think it's anything to leave over. Just let it go.

DES and Pat, why does it sound like your response is saying that FC sent him away. He sent himself away. Of course I loved him as a user, but people make choices and I don't have time for too many goose chases. He'll be back someday.

Yeah, but Matt was a staple, here... He contributes a lot, to a lot of different topics... Always one of the first to recommend someone or something; always willig to help out in some way; he always had an answer to someone's question whether it was technical, cosmetic, etc...

So what if his response seemed a little unusual than most of his others; we all have bad days, right...? i hope to see him back, soon...

I'm sure it's safe to say that FerrariChat.com is never going away, but we may have users come and go and come and go and...

Dang it, y'all are so lucky. I'm stuck here! :-(

His profile wasn't deleted, if it's not there now, then he deleted it himself. I have banned users, but never deleted unless they have a duplicate id or haven't been active in two years.

Yesterday he accidentally deleted his account when updating his email. We fixed that this morning though. If it's gone now, then it's because Matt deleted it again.
