Probably hi-teens/low 20's car at best. Although the car is not resale red, if it is black, grey, or dark blue, those colors complement the model. I don't think it merits either a price reduction, or price premium. The market on Mondial coupes is limited to begin with. It's not unusual for a Ferrari to have low mileage, so it becomes subjective as to what constitutes a low mile example. If the car is driven only 1K per year, that's only a 20K mile car. Personally I don't drive my car in the rain, and I am located in the northeast, so I have had years where I typ. will only put 1K miles on my car.
You did not mention how many owners this car has had. Is this a multiple-owner car just without all receipts from day one?
It may be hard to try to negotiate a price reduction due to not having had to replace a component, unless there is indication that they are deteriorating or in need of replacement. Ie: weather strips are either intact & pliable or not; hoses cracked; belts frayed/cracked; etc. Brakes-pull wheels & check.
The Mondial is a great car. Personally, i prefer the cab's over the coupes. But, that's just matter of taste.

Have a PPI done first. How many miles was it driven in the last couple of years. Are the fluids fresh? If its very clean its worth say high teens. For mid 20s you can get a nicer 3.2.

Any opinions on the right price for an '83 Mondial QV Coupe, off color, but nice cosmetic condition?

GOOD: Car shows low miles (<20k) and has a few service records back to 1984 that seem to confirm mileage under two long-term owners.
BAD: The car SAT A LOT. It was serviced based strictly on miles, not time. It went only about 500 miles and almost two years between each service visit. Most visits were only for dead batteries -almost no other work.

WORK THAT'S BEEN DONE: Dealer-stamped 1,200 and 7,500 mile services, a water pump back in 1989, some a/c work, and - important for a QV - a new fusebox. But literally nothing else is documented until a "15000 mile service with cam belts" two years ago. ***NOT EVEN A SINGLE RECORD OF AN OIL CHANGE*** or radiator flush, brake bleed, gear lube, etc. These must have been done as part of above, but not one fluid change or other bit of preventive maintenance is broken out on the only 11 receipts that cover its 20 year life. On paper, its service is current for the miles, but I worry that sitting so much may have given it arteriosclerosis or worse.
DOES THIS CAR MERIT A PRICE PREMIUM OR A PRICE REDUCTION??? Despite the low miles, I fear I will soon need to replace just about every seal, hose, line or part made of rubber on the car, as well as a lot of electrics, due to deterioration caused by lack of use. Also, the radiator, clutch, brakes, CV joints, etc. are all 20 years old. At least it has newer TRXs...

Any opinions about market price for such a car, or its desirability ? ? ? I like the way Mondial coupes drive and don't mind the color, but I have had bad luck with cars that have sat, so I am hoping to use this car's history against it in price negotiation. Thoughts???
