The M has drilled aluminum pedals. It also has a more generous use of stitched leather in the center console, on the park brake handle housing, F512M Insignia on the passenger side dash, and each car has a plaque with its number engraved as it was a limited production for the US of 75 cars. Total worldwide production was just shy of 500. |

They did remove the center console and sort of rounded off the edges on the same basic layout. Here are a few photos I saved from the old Ferrari NA website. This is what they say about the difference between the the 512TR and M interiors: "The interior of the F512M did not change radically from that of the 512TR, although optional seats were offered for the first time. A small storage bin was added ahead of the console, and the console itself was more heavily covered in leather. Aluminum replaced plastic for the spherical knob atop the gear shifter. A new three spoke Momo steering wheel was introduced, its rim a little thicker, and the inner rim between around the upper spokes made of carbon fiber rather than leather..."

I'd like to see a photo of instrument panel for TR512 or 512M ? I love the TR but never liked the interior & IP Did they ever update it? |
