The M has drilled aluminum pedals. It also has a more generous use of stitched leather in the center console, on the park brake handle housing, F512M Insignia on the passenger side dash, and each car has a plaque with its number engraved as it was a limited production for the US of 75 cars. Total worldwide production was just shy of 500.

They did remove the center console and sort of rounded off the edges on the same basic layout. Here are a few photos I saved from the old Ferrari NA website. This is what they say about the difference between the the 512TR and M interiors:

"The interior of the F512M did not change radically from that of the 512TR, although optional seats were offered for the first time. A small storage bin was added ahead of the console, and the console itself was more heavily covered in leather. Aluminum replaced plastic for the spherical knob atop the gear shifter. A new three spoke Momo steering wheel was introduced, its rim a little thicker, and the inner rim between around the upper spokes made of carbon fiber rather than leather..."

I'd like to see a photo of instrument panel for TR512 or 512M ?

I love the TR but never liked the interior & IP
Did they ever update it?
