John, you compete only against yourself. The car starts with 100 points and you deduct from there. |

I believe the FCA website has info on the points allowed for each area of the car. |

John, If it is judged using Ferrari preservation standards, the key thing is originality and completeness. Dirt and normal wear and tear don't count for much. Also, the main accessories and lights must be operational. Aftermarket mods are a no no. Missing items cost points. Wrong finishes or materials cost points. If your car qualifies on all these counts, it is most certainly platinum level. It's really not hard for cars less than 25 years old to be platinum. Dave PS I have one of your car's twin brothers. |

I have never entered my car (1989 328 GTB) in a concours but I am curious what types of point reductions people have received to stay within platinum or drop down to gold? |
