For what its worth, I have a '99 and can also see all the way down to the exhaust headers and heads.

Thanks very much!!! That's exactly how it looks.
I swear that there is something different from the 1999. I couldn't see as much with that car and I just don't remember being able to see all the way down to the headers and exhaust.

Everything is supposed to be in full view. Why would they hide such artistry!
btw, have you read the section in the owner's manual which describes the major systems? Great diagrams and very interesting reading!

Hi, this is probably going to sound like a silly question. I have owned 2 360s. One was a 1999 and this was before there were "rain trenches" in the engine compartment to channel rain away from the enigine. My second one is a 2002 that I got last July. It just went away for a check engine service (among a bunch of other things) last week. The nearest dealership is in NC and is a 4.5 hour drive from here. When it came back for some reason I think the engine compartment has more things "visible". My question since I don't have access to any pictures and I only have a hunch that something is wrong is ... besides the 2 black pieces on either side of the engine (which also contain the rain trenches) should there be some other "cover up" pieces below those 2? I can see all these braided tubes, also down to the bottom of the engine and all of the exhaust including where the exhaust connects to the engine. For some reason I don't remember being able to see as much as I can see now. Thanks for any information!
