Cool!

Its certainly more brilliant than the bright red paint they use on regular fire extinguishers.

I made this one myself. Paid 69 bucks for the extinguisher at a local racing parts store and 25 bucks for a set of five stickers like the one shown from italiancarparts. Guess this is the "poor mans" version of the one offered at rmferrari! Mounted it on the back shelf.

Thanks for all of the help. I ordered a 2.5lb Halon and may just screw it to the cargo shelf in back of the seats ( short screws )

I just got the following information from Bill Maroun at B-K Auto regarding their TR fire extinguisher mount (someone must have contacted him):

"We have now created a part number (R-9510) and they are available through O.G. Racing (800)-934-9112. Suggested retail is $149.95."

(Unfortunately, it seems the pricing has the usual "Ferrari" addition.)

Adam, I bought a 5lb unit off Ebay for $55. I have seen various sizes there. Some units are new and some are recharged. Good luck. KH

Adam -- I got my 2.5 lb Halon ext. from OG Racing:

(via a great special offer that came up on the Rennlist for $75).

If you'd like a seat ext. mounting bracket for your TR, try contacting Bill Maroun at:

http://www.bkauto.com

They don't show any F stuff on their website (yet), but he made a very nice prototype for/with me:

What does everyone use. I have been hunting for a Halon unit since it is the best since it does not cause damage to the engine, where baked on powder is a nightmare. I found one major supplier of 2.5lb Halon from Amerex for $155 incl shipping. I have also found the Halotron by Amerex that is about the same price, but experts say you need more of it to do the same job. The 5lb unit is $112. Any Thoughts.
Adam
