Even us lowly Viper owners appreciate the beauty and sound of Ferrari's. I was honored they let me lurk in the bushes :-)

True car guys like all sports cars, (especially ones they can't afford ;) )

Paul,

Great pictures! My favorite is the one of the Viper......Behind the trees. Was that a comedic suggestion that the Viper really isnt that important among all the prancing horses. I cant believe that no one else noticed.

It was a excellent event! I'll try to get the word out earlier in my area next year. I'll try to post a pic of Jeff's twin turbo set up-it was, to say the least, incredible. Fantastic 'ear music' every hour. Great bunch of car guys, beautiful cars and a wonderful cause-it just doesn't get any better than that.

Great show, guys! Laney and I were happy to be able to attend. Great lodging AND dinner at the Hilton. I hear that lots of money was raised for Habitat for Humanity.

I let lots of kids sit in the yellow 328 to get their pictures taken by their parents. I turned on the engine when one little boy was sitting in the drivers seat and goosed the engine from the engine bay - he really seemed to like that!

I saw a couple older gentlemen interested in the car and told them to get in and I would take their picture. Afterwards, one of the men told me that they were brothers. His said his brother was going in to the hospital the next day to have some major surgery - getting a lung removed (cancer). He said the photo will really mean a lot to both of them... a very poignant moment.

BTW, the silver Dino at the show is one of only two euro versions ever made with flairs & chairs. How's that for rare. Don, the owner, was telling me that he DROVE the car to Cavallino this winter. After giving it a quick bath, he brought the car on the lawn and proceeded to collect an award (can't remember which). Left all those trailered show cars in his dust!!

Paul,
It's always great to have you here. We need to get the Memphis cars and New Orleans cars together soon.

Wow, what an incredible show. There must have been twice as many cars as last year. The F40 and F50 were both incredible.
What makes this show so great is that there are so many cars relative to the number of guests. I was able to meet several owners, as well as a few F-chatters (Jeff, Ron, and Crawford).
I had a great time, and I look forward to next year.

Great Show! The 4-hour drive (from MO) was worth it!

Jeff, thanks for letting me sit and start your twin-turbo 348. The word "amazing" to describe the sound is an understatement.

Crawford (White), the video of me in your yellow 328 turned out very nice...thanks!!

I also met and had a conversation with other fellow f-chatters Jim Ingalls (did you get any offer on your 328?) and Andy McGee.

Hearing the engine sound of a Euro 308QV (owned by David Gold) was also great. I thought it was tubi-equipped!

Just seeing the F40, F50, and 512BBi and hearing the sound of their engines made my day!

I'll be back next year...heard there will be an Enzo!

Our little group in Memphis put on a great car show on Sunday.
It was only our second year, but we had a great turn out and made lots of money for Habitat for Humanity.
We had a nice selection of "common" Ferrari's plus a few very special cars. We were able to get an F-40, (with under 500 miles, it was "as new") and F-50, (best of show perfect car), a beautiful, 246 dino "chairs and flairs", a pristine Daytona, a 5000KM 512bbi amoung a few select others.
For those of you who attended, we offer many thanks from Memphis for making our little show a great success. If you care to follow this thread, keep an eye open for some pictures to be posted.
