Will, Barber is GREAT. I have not driven it, but I have seen it. It is the Taj Mahal/Garage Mahal of American tracks. That would be my pick to drive!! |

Great replies, thanks. Dave, my towing range to date is Road America & Putnam to the West, New Hampshire to the North and Moroso to the South - going to have to add Barber Motorsports Park, from what I've read. Texas is a pretty big haul, but someday I'd love to get there. Hubert, great site, had never seen it before. I've driven Laguna several times, but never Sears, Thunderhill, Willow Springs - and I grew up in CA and have family there. Shame on me. Dennis, thank you for the offer on Lime Rock. I had signed up for the Pocono event June 28 or so, then my wife's closest friend decided to hold an "engagement party" on that date. Perhaps I should try to bribe her to elope? The August 1 date may work. Again, thank you all. |

Lime Rock park with SCDA on June 27, 28 (Fri/Sat). Muffled event, natch. Sold out, but if you're running a Challenge car and you're qualified to run in advanced/instructor, I may be able to get you squeezed in, if you'd like. Ping me privately. Also, FCA at Lime Rock on Aug 1/2 (Fri/Sat), and Lime Rock with the Ferrari Challenge reunion (you really should attend with the 360C) with FNA on Jule 10-12. vty, --Dennis |

Will: http://opentracking.com/track_events.htm they've got a regional break down there. The events are mostly HPDE's, but the advanced groups run open passing, and if there's a TT listed, then there should be open passing as well. I'd try and bribe you to come out west (laguna seca, thunderhill, and sears point come to mind.), but that's a long haul, for one event. |

Will, I'm certain that Texas is too far for you...but we are having anopen track/testing day on Thursday, July 17, at Texas World Speedway in College Station (about 90 miles north of Houston). It's a great 15-turn 2.9 mile road course with on and off camber turns, some elevation changes, banking, etc. |

Looking for a good place to run my 360C, thought I'd post here and see if any popular events are coming up. I'm in DC but am willing to travel for the right event. I guess the ideal would be a test day with no passing restrictions, but I enjoy marque club type events as well. |
