Long time reader, first time poster. What a great site! Very informative and entertaining. I've probably learned more useful information about F-cars from this site and its posters than all other internet resources combined.
Anyway, the reason for posting. As you all know, there are numerous websites that discuss maintenance for the home mechanic on the 308/328 series, although there is very little on the Mondial. Obviously the engine maintenance schedule will be the same, but how different is working on a Mondial compared to its two-seat sister? It seems to me that they may have a little more room to work under the hood, especially the Mondial coupes. Any other typical problems inherent to the Mondials?
I am a competent home mechanic, and am confident I could do most of the engine-in preventative maintenance on the cars. Love the 328, although the four-seat capability of the Mondial also is attractive. Anybody own/work on both of these wonderful automobiles?
Any info would be appreciated. |
