I like the idea, possibly a variation on the idea would be to have some permanent threads by major models, ie 308, 328, 348, 355, 360. etc. Maybe 10 permanent threads that do not go away. For me personally, I am interested in issues related to a specific model particulary if you are on the search for a purchase. I do not think that the average 308 owner wants to hear all about 456's and vice versa. This is the patern used on the Rennlist.com board, its discussion is sorted by car type, this is just an idea, I realize its not possible to please all people all the time.

Agree.... Vintage is more "on topic". After all, what Ferrari is not a classic ?

Thanks, Rob. Still, I think "Vintage" is a better title than "Classic."

Great idea, especially pictures and narrative from the 50's and 60's. Of course I will miss the thread on proper ways to wash a Ferrari, but....

I very much like the suggestion of Joop. A history section would be great.Upload

As a random nobody, I think it's a great idea.

Certainly sounds like a good idea......Another "Topic" would be good for all those "history buffs"......and we have a lot of very knowledgable people here.

Every now and then a thread comes up about a historic Ferrari - or a historic series for that matter. For instance a new trhead appeared yesterday about Drogo-bodied cars. Since I'm highly interested in classic Ferraris and discovered that more people seem to like them I would suggest to create a separate topic, called 'Classic Ferraris'. I'm convinced that people like Wayne Ausbrooks and Gerald Roush and others would be able to contribute. The topic should be about the cars, their history and images. At the moment these threads are part of the 'General Ferrari Discussion'. From my side I can provide many photographs including serial numbers. It is not my first priority to discuss about the color that left rear brake calipers on 360 spiders should have, neither am I interested in the fact that a Tubi-exhaust sounds a semitone higher than an Ansa. Perhaps more Ferrari-chatters agree. Please show your opinion about this idea. Thanks!
