I had one experience with LCN, Kim Lewis, last year and the deal worked out great for me. I called him about a 96 993TT (Black/Grey 10.5k miles asking $84k) I was interested in and he got back to me pretty quickly. The car was in CA and was being sold thru him by the owner. I inquired about the car and he gave me pictures and a Carfax for the car, but I could not talk to the owner, this got me worried at first, but after a little research I found out the owner was a CFO of a big company in CA and probably didn't want to be bothered and consigned the car thru LCN. Well at the time I was considering buying the Porsche I realized that I had to sell my 91 Testarossa first, so I mentioned this to Kim and he told me he might be able to get me a buyer for my car. Now I also contacted several brokers and dealer (FoLI, FoSA, FoH and some independent dealers) and was told that if I wanted to get into a 993TT (with low miles), it would cost me between $10k-$18k plus my car. To make a long story short Kim got me into the 96 993TT and it cost me $7k and I was also able to keep my new 512TR rims that I just bought from FoSA (less than a couple of hundred miles on tires and rims that cost me about $6k). I sold the rims and tires to a fellow FerrariChatter for $4k, all the other brokers and dealers wanted my original wheels and also my new set. So at the end I ended up spending $3k to get into the 96 993TT. The car was in excellent shape and I had a PPI done at an independent shop (I spoke to the shop about the car and the tech mentioned to me that the owner of the shop had made an offer to the seller for the car, but the owner said that there was a deposit on the car already and would sell him the car if the deal fell through) prior to getting the car, also the PO had bought an extended warranty thru AcuraCare and I had about 10 months left on the warranty, which made me feel a little better. After I got the car I took it to the local P-Car dealer and they did an oil change and checked over the car; they said that it was in excellent condition. LCN is just a broker and they have cars listed on their site that have been sold already and they just haven't taken it off (My 993TT is still on their site and I bought the car last July). I think maybe the reason that they call back sometimes is determined if the car is still available. But overall I was very pleased with their service. I usually purchase high end cars from authorized dealers only (I bought 93 348SS from FoH and 91 Testarossa from FoSA), but now will definitely consider several brokers who have helped me with these last few purchases (Wade Nunez, Martin, Brian Buxton and Mike from Pro-Auto in PA). Thanks guys for all your help and hopefully we will do business soon.

Well,
unlike others experiences, Mike McCoy got back to me promptly, did a lot of work, lots of calls, got the car inspected, i was very pleased until... the photos arrived.

It is maroon, not red (as advertised)
anyone looking for a beautifully maintained, priced right QV, call him.
Me, i'm disappointed (again)

Wade... if you have any 84/85 US red/tans for sale, let me know... that $$$ is just wasting away in the bank!

Mike I have done several deals with Mike McCoy of LCN both selling for him and selling to him and working on cars he has sold (I have 3 308's with me right now that he has sold and am doing service and freshenging up to them) out of the many deals that I have done for/with him I have only had one problem with a car and am trying to rectify that problem now, it will probably end up costing both him and me a few dollars but the customer deserves satifaction and we are trying to accomplish that. So that said John Houghtaling is correct when he said they are brokers. but Mike goes to a great deal of expense to have an extensive list of Ferraris for sale, sure not all of them are real but it is hard to regulate what someone is putting on a free website. The reasons some of you have not heard back from him is that he receives several thousand phone calls and emails a month and most are from dreamers, I appologize for him for the lack of contact to the real buyers sometimes there are so many inquiries that it is hard to keep track of them.

Luxury Car Network is a service that searches local advertisements and puts all adds together on one website. They do not control the cars listed, and many of the cars listed may not exist.

I've had one good and one bad experience with them. They are brokers. Sometimes their "brokering" is unauthorized.

Thats the kind of service you want!

Imagine you buy the car and a page from the owners manual is missing.....
Reminds me of Prestige Imports.

My experience was the same as Phil's. I called about Porsche's at first and then about a 328. After a lot of cajoling I finally got a call back but absolutely no follow up. I cannot figure out what they are up to.

I was also calling them a couple of years ago, when I was looking........called quite a few times, no return calls, no information from them. If you actually got ahold of them, they may be great, you've just already gotten further than I did.

I was in Alabama for a long weekend in early April, and as I was in the market for a 328, I called them about a couple of cars in Alabama and Georgia that I was very interested in seeing. They still haven't gotten back to me.
