:-(

Danica Patrick is most displeased, Tony. Most displeased.

Just think... She could have been yours. Instead, she now knows you have no balls and couldn't please her anyway in the way she needs to be pleased.

...though strangely, through it all, she's developed a subtle yet feverish attraction towards your's truly. Could it be my 308?

You decide!

He must really hate 308's as he doesn't even pretend to own one of those! Yes, I am a poser, hoser, big noser, bull dozer, etc. in a lowly 308.

I will give $1000 cash, and a full page ad in the LA Times admitting I was wrong for the following

A picture of the VIN's you listed on a Valid California Registration showing your VIN, NAME, MAKE, MODEL and YEAR of your Ferrari's.

No, all Ferrari road cars do NOT have odd numbers. This is only true for the older cars. As of S/N 75000 Ferrari began using both ODD and EVEN numbers.

The only way to solve his bull is to post a pic of the Vin with a newspaper or to post the title.

Enzos come with even-numbered VINs. I have pictures of two separate even-numbered VIN plates on Enzos.

I'll pledge $200 towards bail for any future charges against The Don, including any B&E at Tony's.

Also, I've managed to get a hold of Danica Patrick, pictured below, and she is very concerned about this Situation. She doesn't think Tony's got balls, but wants to be proven wrong. She told me that if Tony posts shots of his VIN and a paper, she'll be at his "service" for whatever "favors" Tony would desire. If not, she states, she'll merely hold on to her assumption that Tony simply has no testicles.

Bart, now what? now we hunt those #s until:

1. we find them registered to someone else.
2. tony-baloney posts a pic of the vin and current paper.
3. we all chip in to bond out "the don" when he prys his way into tony's garage to expose the sham.

I am betting man, so I will rank this 3..1..and then the longshot, with option 2.

"I would give out the serial number of my one-off prototype Ferrari that was built for the King of Kabulistan, but it has no serial number. The chassis was hand engraved by Enzo's mistresses and painted with red fingernail polish. Unfortunately, the body was severely damaged in the 1965 Greenland 1000 mile race. A previous restorer attempted to strip the body by dipping it in a vat of caustic lye solution. Too bad the body was made of aluminum. "

I have bad news. You have been ripped off, your car is an obvious fake! The real King of Kabulistan 500 Superfast/LMP/MM was a one off special built by an obscure coachbuilder from Alabama who was living temporarily in Modena at the time. Enzo found him beating a trash can with a body hammer while searching for food, recognized his natural talent and commissioned him to do the car. In 1959 Enzo attempted to lure Fangio out of retirement to drive this 500hp beast, but the old man begged off when Enzo insisted he accept a purple signature Enzo signed Ferrari team T-shirt in payment. Instead the car was raced by Wolfgang Von Trips. Von Crash promptly did just that. He crashed it into a garbage truck which dumped rotten pesto sauce into the interior and engine bay. The car carried a strange smell from then on. It was during this stage of the cars history that it was rebuilt and the mythical fingernail engraved red VIN number created. In reality, no females were involved. Enzo simply attempted to fake a story and VIN to avoid importation taxes into the Congo. The story about it being raced and crashed in Greenland is commonly told, but is false. The car was last seen in the Congo, being used as a high speed cattle mover and jungle clearing vehicle. It was reportedly eaten by a clan of rabid gorillas.

Perhaps you can sell your fake on ebay?

Not sure I'd respond at all if I were Tony, but - wasn't the challenge to post a photo of the VINs AND today's newspaper? If we're just doing s/ns, then here are a few of my cars:

0525 GT (250 GT Coupe Boano)
0470 MD (750 Monza Spyder)
0038 M (MM Barchetta)

more interesting though than just the last couple digits is the whole vin itself. However, given even the serial number you can sometimes put the vin together:
http://www.ferrariclub.com/faq/vin.html
and then you can run a carfax on it at least.

OK, I made it out to the garage and stumbled through all the unrestored Ferrari hulks and WWII Jeeps stored in their original crates. Finally got a good shot of the King of Kabulistan Ferrari tag. Threw in a recent newspaper just to add a little verification.

Tony,
A serial number is not the same as giving out a checking account number. One of the reasons we own such marvelous pieces of machinery is because they are rare and that each one has a unique identifier, and hence a place in history.

My 348tb is #82347
My bank account number is XXXXX-XXXXX oops... guess Rob has good encryption on this site.
