what did the ppi papers say about the interior?
if they said it was anything other than what you've discovered, you might have some recourse.

Scott, congratulations... However, i'm sorry the car isn't in the condition you thought/anticipated it was... i hope things work out... Is there any way you can call the people who the did the PPI and find out why they okayed this...? Please keep us postd... Is this your first Ferrari...? |

Got the car, disappointed in the condition. Guess the inspection I got wasnt so good. Maybe the dealer paid them off. Mainly interior is pretty shoddy. Leather tears and wear, plastic cracks, rear window seal discolored (white, appears to be leaking (?). Sigh. Seems to run OK except clutch is very hard to push -- is that normal? Seems to engage OK though. Only have taken short drives as I have no plates for it. |

Congrats! Scott, you move quickly. I'm also waiting for my Ferrari till next Monday or Tuesday. I think you started looking in the past 2 weeks, right? Pls let us know how you enjoyed your first drive w/ 456GT!

Ron,
We have a 996 for 2-seater fun, love that the 456 holds 4 and luggage. And love that its a V12. And a modern V12 ferrari for around $70k, seems like a steal.
Fortunately (?) the weather kinda sucks here in the east still so I'd rather delivery be delayed till it's sunny (unfortunately it's not going to be sunny till Saturday....)
