I have been at this dealer and would probably not buy this car or any car from them. |

You guys are getting over cautious again. This was a great deal. 30K done at dealer, what more can you want. Even if the service was overdue it was done. Nobody complained when Scott bought the 355B with a fresh service and about 3 years overdue. This was a great deal. Heck I would have bought the car myself. it looks kept and clean. There is no story in carfax, they have service records, what more do you want? Shoot the guy an e-mail if his bidder fails you buy it.

Gullwing Motors bought my first Ferrari from me (many many moons ago) when I put it up for sale. It was an '85 GTS QV with 51k miles. To their credit, they did bring $30k cash with them. It was not the best of cars (motor was in need of some tlc) but they bought it right up. This isn't an endorsement or a canning of Gullwing, just wanted to let people know of a personal experience with them. |

What do y'all think is fair market price for 96 355 GTB/GTS for 30K miles? Some dealers were offering 95-96 355 GTB/GTS in high $70's to low 80's. So I assumed I can get one in that price range or even lower in few years while I get my feet wet with 328. Based on production number of 355, I suspect it may depreciate quicker than other models, but I really don't know the popularity/demand for 355 either. I just love the sound of 355......... The ideal situation is my 328 will be about $80K in 2005, then I make a move on 355, using 328 as collateral for loan. Then after purchase of 355.... It's ok to dream, right? (day-dreaming?) |

Gullwing Motors was offering a similar car for 59K no books or records though. Mr. Doody is right there are alot of dead beat bidders who like to mess with auctions, probably people like Tony Roberts. |

i wouldn't get my panties in a knot just yet. look at the bid history. this may be 100% legit, but do keep in mind that plenty of ebay car deals do not actually consummate. 34K miles is not a small number. the major service was overdue by as much as two years (what else didn't they keep up with?). etc. doody. |
