Your punk a$$ is MINE, biatch! Try to "buy" it back, Mr. Moneybags!

By the way, incase you missed the 300+ other posts pointing this out: it is "you're", not "your", brainiac.

Now, BACK TO YOUR HOMEWORK, junior. Your mama wants to use the computer.

Tony, lawyers will defend clients who may who may be liars. But, a lawyer is prohibited from allowing his client to lie on the record. If a lawyer knows his client has lied, he must either convince his client to tell the truth or withdraw from his representation. If a lawyer knows his client will lie if he testifies, that lawyer must convince him not to lie or withdraw. Contrary to popular belief, there is a lot less lying and a lot more truth brought out in a case with lawyers than in a case being handled by the parties without lawyers.

Tony, just for a little background. There was a guy who logged on a few months ago named Chris Sawyerr who was inviting everybody to link over to his elaborate classic car web site. He was selling raffle tickets. Raffle winner won a 360 Ferrari. Tickets were $100 each. Several list members (NOT ME) sent him money for raffle tickets. To make a long story short: Chris Sawyerr was a scam artist. There was no 360 Ferrari. His elaborate web site was a scam. Several guys lost their $100 raffle ticket money straight down the drain.

So you can see why many people are skeptical of new comers who make unsubstansiated claims.

How many lawyers who pose in used

Can we find a lawyer who can only

Think about it guys, he will not post the picture becuase there is no car in his driveway.

He is dead. I hope he will re-register and try to contribute to this board, till then....

Seems like Tony's problem is that he felt compelled to justify the vehicles listed in his profile. If he had responded to a request for the VIN numbers as I would have with a "none of your business" he would not be in the fix her is in.

Cosgrove, here's a quick synopsis derived from 3 or 4 different threads. Tony says he has 2 Ferraris. The Don thought he was a poser and called him out on it. The Don challenged Tony to post photos of his cars. Tony never antyed up with the photos. Tony did post some serial numbers, but after running a car fax, one car is in California (maybe Massachusettes) and one is in Hawaii. So things are looking pretty murky for Tony's credibility. That's a quick update as of 3:25 PM CDST. Stay tuned.

Tony it is one thing to come here and make up what type of cars you own, but it is another to make jokes about and insult people you have never even talked to before 2.5 weeks ago. The only reason people got on your case about your cars is because you sound like you have no clue what a ferrari even is. Most people know a 355 is a spider not spyder and if you own one you better know. What about the 328 gtsi you have come on? one mistake ok two ok but then the questions about f-cars you ask are crazy like Can afford it thread. Whether you own these cars or not I really don't care, but why if you do own them you don't just take the picture is past me. But, don't come here and insult peoples jobs. You don't even know them and for what its worth WMhart and the other lawyers here art and those I haven't mentioned have helped more people out on this board then you could ever imagine. How many lawyers do you know that will tell you to call them at the office so they can help you out even though they have nothing to gain from it. They are just helping out an f-chatter. So, think twice before you insult people that have been here for years will you. Thanks

Tony:

Your point is what? 1) there is no crime against lying about owning these cars, 2) there should not be a crime against owning these cars, and 3) lawyers shouldn't care if you are lying.

O.K., I'm convinced that's what you think.

But I find it funny that you still haven't defended yourself by claiming your telling the truth. . . . . . . . . . Unless of course, I assume you're not.

You know, not to be difficult or anything, but if Tony really doesn't own those cars, and is claiming that he does over wires, the phone lines, eg. the Internet, there is probably some kind of action here, possibly criminal in nature, for fraud. Now, i'm not totally up to speed on the recent anti-terrorism enactments, but i'm sure they make it tougher, not easier, to use the 'Net to make false claims. So, if those cars aren't Tony's and he's claiming they are, he could be in some trouble.
I do think all the baiting is silly. Hell, for a couple grand you could probably have a private detective tell you everything you didn't want to know about Tony. I frankly, could care less whether the Tony is an owner or not. Its just that he has been a little provacative here, and made more enemies than friends, so people have become increasingly skeptical. Tony, if this is just your style, don't take it personally. If you have been jerking everybody off here, the truth will tell. Hope you're right.

What did Tony do to cause all of these responses? Was it claiming ownership of F'cars that he did not own or something else. If so how was this discovered?

I agree with Tom. Where else could I get a ride in a 550 maranello(fchat member) and go to an awesome country club(fchat member again) and meet and see such great people without even owning a ferrari. Also seeing you guys at the reading show. The fchatters I have talked to in person don't mind that I don't have an f-car yet. Great group of guys. Ok no need to make myself look stupid by repeating the same thing.

Notice no one ever challenges you when you say you own a P4, 308GT4 or Mondial........

The 355 is currently registered in Mass. and the 328 is currently in Hawaii. Tony, in a previous thread, you wanted to know of SoCal independents for service. What Ferrari do you have at your California residence?
