RIP, and condolences to their families and friends. I did not know them but have since read and felt the excitement about their adventure. True enthusiasts.

Very bad year for motorsport this year. Barry Sheen, Possum Borne, Suzuki MotoGP rider, a guy died racing at club level in New Zealand in the same class that I used to race in ... and now this.

Lets all be careful ...

I couldn't visit Ferrarichat for a couple of weeks because of internet connection problems. Now i come and see terrible things! I can't believe.
I couldn't have the happiness of meeting one of them but it was so enjoyable talking on Fchat with them. I reallr shocked and don't want to write more.
RIP Jens and Amar
I'll really miss it...

As a newbie here I did not know Amar, but had spoken with Jens for the first time on a Nurburgring related Porsche thread just 2-3 days ago.

He was cheerfully remarking about lap times there in a BMW he once owned and I signed off the thread with a "wish I still lived in Germany so I could do that" comment.

Sad.................

My heartfelt condolences to both their respective families and friends.

I am so sad to hear Jens and Amar had left us.
Jens was a very nice gentleman(f-chatter) who helped Peter(Bubba) sourced the fog lights of his 512TR from Europe and shipped them to Hong Kong.

My condolences to their families and friends.

Just this week in a threat I was chatting with Jens where he announced his drive on the Ring and I congratulated and envied him.

In a couple of weeks I'm going to London and wanted to get together with Amar, whom I've chatted with in the past. He wanted to show me his 360.

I don't know what to say. I'm just terribly sad.

I was driving in my car and the radio played 'The good ones always die young' and for some reason I picked up on it and payed attention, thinking who would qualify. Then I come home and log on here...

May their souls rest in peace.

It sure is hard to express one's feelings of sadness and condolence at a time like this...they will be truly missed. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out for their families.

Sorry I wasn't fortunate enough to get to know Amar too well; but I did correspond with Jens a good bit when he first joined F-Chat. It's hard to believe that he and Amar are gone so suddenly...very tragic indeed.

I remember reading Jens sig line and looking it up to see what it meant. I chatted with him about a few things here and there.

Utterly tragic.

Let me add my sincere condolences. I have not been a member for very long, but I have researched a great deal and enjoyed Jens' posts very much. He seemed to be such a wonderful man, very caring, enthusiastic and always helpful. His exchanges with fellow European chatters, offering to see cars on their behalf and words of encouragement embody the kind of spirit I hope are what we'll all strive to contribute.

I will miss you both.

Jens and Omar, I raise a glass to you. I never had the pleasure of knowing you, but we shared a kindred passion for beautiful cars.

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the Sun shine on your faces
And until we meet, may the good Lord hold you in the hollow of His Hand.

God Bless and keep you and yours.

A friend.
