You remind me of Charlton Heston, the way he ran to the scenes of shootings to promote gun rights. There's a time and a place for all comments, you just don't seem to have the common sense to know when that is. |

Cops and soldiers get killed in the line of duty all of the time. Does that make it any less tradgic? When Senna was killed just because he was in a high risk profession was it not still a tradgedy?

I would request of you that whenever this guy pops up in any form, for any reason that he be immediately deleted. He causes nothing but desent and anger. That is not what this site is all about. If I knew who he actually is and how to get ahold of him, I might invite a few of you to join me in going over to speak to him about his wonderful attitude. Michael, or whoever you are, you remind me of shock-jock type personalities who make insensitive, controversial statements and then retreat behind their rhetoric in defense. You seem to fall back on the Nazi reference a lot. First of all, in this day and age, people do NOT "get killed all the time racing", as you stated. And to compare racing to shooting heroin is juvenile. If you really have this strong personal issue about the dangers of racing, then why have you waited until now to voice your feelings? People like you are the types who, after 9/11, packed cigarette ashes into little vials and tried to sell them on eBay as Trade Center debris.
You've been deleted, again, but I'm sure you'll reappear as some other entity. The members here have developed a bond with one another, and regardless of HOW a tragedy befalls someone, it is no less a tragedy. We mourn for those with whom we have spent countless hours sharing, be it family, friends, or FerrariChat, which emcompasses both. |

Some people will do whatever it takes to pursue their passion and at the same time will be considerate about the feelings and dreams of others and will infact help them achieve it.
All the members I have come across on this board belong to such a class.....a class where u will never fit and where u will never comprehend such gentlemen like behaviour that I see in other members.....I have not posted a lot on this board but log on every other minute every single day and learn something valuable from all the members..not only in regards to cars but tonnes of other positive stuff......
I cannot believe ur post...especially in such a sensitive time....Still I wish you and your loved ones all the very best in life.....
