Ahhhh....we are in a very weird market.....all of us should have bought gold stocks months ago...oh well....but when the bottom drops out I am ready to take short positions in gold.......but it's not looking like the time will be ripe for a while. Japan's problems are fueling the gold rally right now.

After all the carnage over the last few days, the VIX is still in the 28 range!!!.....hope some here are still holding short and making some bucks....I screwed up a bit holding some stuff long. Don't be at all suprised to see the Nasdaq play with the upper end of the 1600 level....scary.....Gold seems safe right now but I look at gold as a future short opportunity....CSCO's feeble earnings report after the bell might hit hard tomorrow....just my 2 cents.....

I love Etrade. There are alternatives but I am happy so I stay with Etrade.

LMAO ADAM!!!!

Actually I quoted US$ Amex - the stock on the TSE is doing even better at $1.80CAD. Highly leveraged to the commodity price and the fact we are a very small hedger. I think I have the rims & tires already!!!!!!

I'm doing my little 355 dance and gazing longingly at the garage to where he (the car) shall stay.

oh my - if the stock tanks today I may be stuck with a Fiat Tipo (sigh)

Trading online is the only way to go. Scottrade is good for stocks over $1......$7 market order/$12 limit orders for Nasdaq/NY Stock Exchange/OTC.BB/Amex........and if you have a problem you can talk to a real person immediately on the phone. If you like penny stocks go with Datek....$9.95 for any trade but they are not very reliable sometimes. If you want a good inexpensive Level II quote service try alphatrade.com....$29 a month.

Nika....Is that Canadian dollars, because you may be able to get a 1/18th 355 in yellow of course. Sorry.....just a quick jab at your expense.

When I posted my message - the 14th of Jan my company's shares were 80 cents on the Amex - today they are $1.12 - with a good gold rally I may get that 355 sooner rather than later!!!!! :)

PCS has dropped to 11 today as an over reaction that they would only sign up 3 mil. new subscribers, instead of 3.6 mil.

250% potential gain when it stabalizes as a 12-24 month target.
