Having shadowed this site and recently become a card-carrying member, I have been impressed with the breadth and depth of knowledge and the comraderie of the members of this superb site. Indeed, I have been helped already (thank you Kuzi Hsui) by one of the veterans of this group.

I suspect not many this side of the pond have a chance to delve into the "London Review of Books", and so I thought some of the members may enjoy a poem I came across in a recent issue of that organ by Robert Crawford (not a Ferrari owner, as far as I know). I haven't seen any poems on or about the Ferrari. If anyone else has heard/read any, perhaps he/she might be kind enough to share.

With the recent loss of our fellow European members, poetry comes to mind.

Thanks to all of you for making this such a splendid forum.
