Do you have Vitaloni "flag" mirrors? They are on ebay all the time. Just search Vitaloni.

I will take some pix of the piece BUT.....I'm still recovering from racing school and now packing for Atlanta...then back to run off to Mt Tremblant for the Historics...I think my dogs will forget who I am! If it wasn't 100 degrees I would drive the car just to keep me SANE for the next 2 weeks!

Thank you everyone for your help....I do have a good contact for the piece now....and will get it fixed soon. You guys are great! :-)

Ferrari used to sell a mirror parts kit consisting of the two plastic parts, and the base gasket. This was discontinued early nineties. I was the one who had molds made and had these reproduced when I worked for Rutlands. There is only one mfr. but he sells to Rutlands, FPE and CND (italian car parts). Nika, send me a picture or tell me which mirros you have and I will try to help.

From what I've seen www.owners.ferrari.com has the best prices on older Ferarri parts.

I bought mine (these are on the 328 mirrors as well) from brian at www.ferraripartsexchange.com
He charges $25 each. Expensive, but cheaper than Italian Car Parts...

Yeah, Ferrari UK would be worth a look as well. Surprising, but FNA no longer stocks these, as I tried the dealer first.

I'll wager $5 that the owners site is cheaper than everyone else.

According to ICP's website, they sell the following:

Mirror Cap Set, 1 each of above for 1 mirror, 308QV & 328: #FR91603 $72.50 set

You might give Charles a call there (503-655-9811), and inquire about just purchasing the "cup" piece.

I also checked Ferrari-Parts-Exchange and Sodacoms (site temp. closed), and neither had them listed, but Lyle at F.P.E. should be able to source them for you -- or, perhaps, T.Rutlands can.

Well - I didn't want to bother Rob with finding all my old info.

It's always nice to be a rookie again :-)

Thanks for the info. It's hard to describe what happened..looks like the triangular rubber piece just disintegrated.

Is it the "cup" piece at the mirror base towards the rear of the car, or the elongated rubber piece at the base towards the front? The ones that conceal the mirror adjustment torx screw? If so, I purchased a set of them for one mirror from www.italiancarparts.com -- a little on the pricey side -- there are other sources as well. Perhaps someone else has another source to recommend.

Nika, why the new name w/ only 3 posts? Did you get frustrated with us again and delete yourself?

Try the owners site, for your part.

I just noticed the rubber piece on the drivers side mirror has broken off. It's the piece below the mirror and on the piece attached to the car. Does anyone know where I can can this part - or do I have to replace the whole mirror. I know it's just a cosmetic thing but I'd rather have it fixed.

I'll try and get a pix

Must of been driving MisterBumblebee too fast!
