Some of you may or may not realize that Gerald has dedicated his life to the study of Ferrari and the absolute spirit of the sports car. He has forgotten more about the marque than I will ever know. And he is a true gentleman. Lets show our support for him and subscribe! Yeaaaa!

You can find an index online. Go to www.ferrarimarketletter.com

Click on BACK ISSUE ONLINE INDEX on the left side.

Scroll down and enter the keyword of the subject you are looking for.

Unfortunately this index was being "semi-maintained" by my former hosting service and is not exactly up-to-date or accurate.

We're working on it! Too many projects, not enough time.

I have subscribed since 1976 and still look forward to each new issue. I do like having the hard copy and have kept the complete collection in sleeves and binders. Gerald, how about a complete index to the front page articles so I can find what I am looking for a little quicker. Is the tech tips collection still available?

Gerald, I used to subscribe but let it lapse. Your offer of a free two weeks will give me a chance to resample the info and I'll probably resubscribe.

Thanks!

The online version is actually updated quicker than people receive their print version I believe. Every two weeks you can see the updates (articles, prices, and classifieds) right away. I'm not sure when they go in the archives though.

Michael:

"The online edition contains all of the material from the print edition and is updated when the print edition is published (approximately every two weeks)."

And it's true!

If Mr. Roush updates the site listings as quickly as they print them hardcopy, I'll gladly reconsider his offer. Its been my experience that website updates are a distant afterthought, if they happen at all.....how many of us have searched after something we saw on the web and found that the website listing was months old???

Just FYI. I don't know why anyone would want to use the print edition. I prefer reading the FML online. If you see something of interest, just print it out!

A word of explanation about the Ferrari Market Letter's FerrariChat special.

This promotion offers a 50 percent bonus subscription term. That means you get an additional three months with each new or renewal six-month subscription ordered through the link on FerrariChat, and in addition a portion of the $40.00 is returned to Rob to support FerrariChat. If you subscribe or renew but don't go through the FerrariChat link then (A) we don't know to give you the 50 percent bonus and (B) we don't know to pass the bonus along to FerrariChat. So if you don't go through the FerrariChat link send me an email and I will straighten it out.

Sorry, but because of certain fixed costs such as postage, paper and printing we are unable to match this offer for subscriptions to the print edition.

I've been a FML subscriber for about a decade now I believe. I use it to find parts and such more than cars. But, I do like seeing what Ferraris are out there for sale and where and by whom.

Does this subscription include BOTH access to the website as well as the printed/mailed newsletter? I was 99% subscribed, until I backed out to ask this question.....

I've been a subscriber for about 2 years and think that it is great... once you understand the "Asking Price" concept. Gerald explains this every now and then, but it is important to remember that this index is just a "point of beginning."

I have found that some brokers and dealers will offer slightly lower prices than on their web sites. So you do get a feel for how much bargaining room might exist.

But generally, I'd use a 15% discount factor if I was going to make an offer on a specific car. You can always go up. Just hard to go down.

Again, it is great pub. Only comment is that I wish the recent editions would have more of the technical bits that the older editions used to have.
