I did not see registration info on your site, I can give you info on both of mine. As for Audio, I might be able to work something out but not for a few days...busy weekend.

Tubi or not Tubi...well, of course, Tubi. I felt the stock exhaust sounded - dare I say it - like a VW at idle and only really opened up in the upper range where it sounded just fine. Post Tubi, the car has a nice balance between lower rumble and outright Ferrari whine at the top end. I was going to try test pipes or even hollowing out the cats but I am worried that I would be messing with something that I love the sound of now. I will never go back to the stock on it...

Apologies for missing the thread - so few Mondial fans around - but I had to get away from the sniping on Fchat lately.

Hi
I received the info ok. Thanks. I will let you know about my combination thoughts. I needed spacers for the rear and special bolts had to be made for front and rear. I can supply these if you are interested. I think the wheels make it look much better. yes that are stock 355 wheels. Thanks Steve

Steve, sent over the info. needed for the register. Will be interesting to see what is out there.

Your car looks great! Let us know what you think about the K&N/extensions combonation.

Love the 355 wheels on the car. Are they stock F355 wheels and do they bolt right on without fabrication?

Hi
There are only 47 RHD coupes (3 valeo) and only 51 cabriolets (5 valeo) imported into the UK. Not many at all. Steve

My car is fitted with extensions I removed the cats a while ago. Do you have the present mileage and an engine number. I am gettng as much info together as I can. The register will be good for anyone who is thinking of buying a Mondial T. It will be useful to see if the car is what it should be, not clocked or repainted etc etc. e-mail me directly if you would like to. [email protected] Thanks again Steve

Steve, the sound will be a bit more throatier say over 4,500rpm. Improved fuel milage and better throttle response. Is your car fitted with Cats or Extensions?

JMG on this board with a 89 t Cab has a Tubi and loves it. In fact I think he got rid of his stock exhaust for good.

Matt, so far the only mods are the K&N filter with the Factory test pipes. Wow! the engine is so much happier. Throttle response has improved a bunch plus there is bit more HP. I need to keep it as close to stock as possible for CI"03 and FCA Intl. "04. I like having it judged at the meets. If I still own it after these next two shows I will probably go with a Tubi maybe wheels.

thats a collector from what i can tell. I like the word prestine. Mondial Coupe is one of my favorite fcars. Mid engine, forward cab, wedge aerodynamics. Just add wheels, intake and exhaust and itll be good for 320+hp and gobs of fun.

Hi Ralph, yes I own a 89 t coupe and drive it regularly. It really is a great car. Check the showroom I have a few picks there. Out of 810 total units Ferrari produced only 40 USA models. In the 4 years I owned the car my car has been the only t Coupe at the events I've attended on the west coast. CI "01, CI "02 and FCA Intl. Meet "02. Platinum awards in all meets.

The 348 engine gets it down the road very nice and well balanced. I will soon advertise it "For Sale" as I'm looking to move on to a 355 or 360.

Barney told us that there were 70 US Coupes imported by FNA. Don't know if that's true or not, but he has reason to know...

Have heard also that only 40 T-coupes were brought stateside as well. With that said my guess is there are more than that around. I personally know 2 folks who have one, not on this board. Also have seen a fair amount for sale on the internet, for what is supposedly a rare car.

They're great cars. My busines partner's wife bought one new from Steve Barney in those heady late '80's. We took it to the track immediately for the 1990 Annual Meet and other FCA track events and surprised a lot of 8 cylinder cars and most 12 cylinder cars. The torsional rigidity is terrific and the extra wheelbase promotes high speed stability, giving great confidence. Some don't like the "cab-forward" driving position, but look at it this way, it's more like an F1 car!

Ferrari only brought the t coupes in to the US for 1989...so they are a bit tougher to find...but they are out there.

Anyone know of Mondial T coupes around ?

I think I remember reading in the buyers
guide that there are around 50 "T" coupes ?

I never seem to see them forsale
