Sorry Adam, I didn't mean to imply that you were doing this to make a buck off someone else's car. I grew up around film productions in Malibu - we were constantly dealing with pushy production people who thought we should be honored to have our lives disrupted while they were out to make a fortune. One young filmmaker even asked me recently if I wanted to have my car in his production - it would pay $100....
and all I had to do was a burnout - it would probably only be 4 or 5 takes.

He couldn't understand why I was laughing hysterically.

If I'd live in the area I'd bring my car. If nothing else to support a fellow low budget movie maker. It is though with a zero budget and you appreciate any help you can get.

This movie is on a budget...and I'm not making anything on it. Nobody is asking you to do anything that you don't already do with your car.

FWIW, my TR has been in a couple of movies, TV shows and commmercials - the going rate is $350-$500 a day for set dressing or $600-$1,200 a day if it's moving.

Hey guys, a movie can't be made about fast cars w/o Ferraris. So if you are located in NY/NJ look here for more details.
