well the seller says it is an absolute auction, no reserve and the highest bid takes it....no exceptions...at least that is what he told me...i think 110 will be the price, auction ends tomorrow

Blue over bordeaux? Even with this, I wouldn't expect less than 6 figures. My guess is 110, assuming it completes?

Actually, I just placed a bid for $50K (although it only had to go to $40.1K to make me the high bidder).
Byron -- I hope I'll be able take you up on your kind offer (but I doubt it )

Wow. It's at 40k. I'd swipe that up for that much.

Cheers

If anyone is bidding on the car and needs someone to look at it in person, let me know. I live in Irvine. Contact me at [email protected] after you've worked out details with the seller.

But what about the spirited bidding
in the last few seconds ?

I cannot stand the pressure.
Another Ebay bargain ?

ken - the seller can cancel the listing at any time and they forefeit their $40 listing fee.

a lot of these auctions get shut down with a few hours to go.

doody.

I guarantee that car will not sell cheap. Wait and see; I'm sure the seller has a shill lined up, or will cancel the auction if it doesn't go high enough. One negative feedback is well worth not selling a car $10 or $20k too cheap.

Pardon me from my ignorance of Ebay...but, with no reserve doesn't that dictate that the seller is required to take the highest bidder not matter how low the bid?
